Morning everyone first let me say a big thank you with regards to my twitching question, I am waiting to see Dr they have booked a chest x-ray. My question today is has anyone had a letter regarding ESA and health assessment by phone. If you have had one can you let me know what to expect. Xxx

Health anxiety
I’m convinced my health anxiety is what keeps my behind and stopping me from moving forward sometimes. I worry so much about my heart all the time I’ve had 3 ekg done all were normal I’ve had a chest X-ray that was normal. I feel one little twitch, pain, bubble, pop on my left side or sternum I think

Hi. I have RA and Fibro. I'm on Sulphzasine and weekly Benipali had it must be 16 years RA that is. Following routine chest x-ray as I have inactive TB or Latent as sometimes called my heart is mildly enlarged. Thinking would RA cause that as I know it can effect the heart. Also surprised my cholesterol

Today wasn’t the best
I am so over worrying about my health I’m so over these physical sensations. I’ve convinced myself I have artery disease blood clots and other heart issues. I’m tired of it feeling like I can’t feel my hands some days like I can feel them but like it feels like I can’t like the sensation is decreased

What diagnostic test(s) are usually done to test for Pulmonary Hypertension?
Hi there. I've recently been referred to see a Pulmonary Hypertension Consultant (by my Cardiologist, due to signs in the Echo it could be intermediate probability of PH). The appointment with the Pulmonary Hypertension isn't until September (due to NHS waiting times). My question for the group is,

Could do with some advice.
Hi all, I understand that probably a lot of people post on here asking for a diagnosis which is most likely not possible, but I could do with some advice if you don't mind. I've bee struggling with intermittent chest pains for around 6 months now, sometimes with a few weeks between not having an issue

Testing times
My 80 year old neighbour is getting increasingly breathless. After a chest X-ray in March she was told in late April she had an enlarged heart and needed further tests. She has contacted the hospital for further information and been told there is a 20 week wait for the holter monitor and 40 weeks for

Lung reduction.
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I got diagnosed with COPD by my GP last October after a chest x-ray. GP referred me to the lung medicine clinic, luckily got an appointment in January. My fev1 was 19% which explained why I was struggling. I didn't get to see my consultant at the appointment unfortunately. Prescribed

Whether to push for a diagnosis
Hello All, my first post and I'm afraid it will be a long one but perhaps someone has had similar experiences and can help. I am male and 53 years old. I’ve had a diagnosis of Raynaud’s since my teens. Over the last ten years or so I developed visible red veins on the backs of my hands, forearms, feet

Hiatus hernia
I have been diagnosed with hiatus hernia last year. My main symptom is on the right hand side, constant rib pain and side pain. I've had abdomen scan nothing showing and chest x ray. Does anyone suffer similar symptoms on right side? Cheers
