day 5 post FET
Hi, I have just had a medicated FET. I am on day 5 of my two week wait. I have had two embryos inserted this time, after having one success 3 years ago (my little boy is now 2) and one failed FET earlier this year. I have started to get waves of nausea, slight pelvic cramps and also tiny white

Lymphatic drainage massages
After reading CLL is dormant in the blood stream but active in the lymph nodes I wondered if it might be be beneficial to keep the cells circulating out of the lymph nodes as much as possible. It seems intuitive exercise and hydration would be good for this potentially but should have no real negative

Shingles and MTX
I'm due to go visit family but brother-in-law has shingles. Normally I wouldn't worry as I have had chicken pox but the NHS in advice on taking MTX says to contact the doctor if you've been exposed to shingles (which suggests we should avoid contact with shingles patients). Has anyone been advised to

A ‘wobble’ caused by subset 6 CLL.
Hi all, a very ocasional póster here but avid reader of the many highly informed contributors that make this site what it is. I was diagnosed with stage ‘A’ CLL in 2021 and continue to be on W & W. I have many of the classic symptoms but not severe enough to warrant treatment - yet! I’ve recently been

sex after miscarriage
Hi, unfortunately I have just experienced a MMC following my first IVF cycle. I chose for it to happen naturally and I miscarried almost 2 weeks ago. On the day I miscarried I experienced a lot of pain but didn’t pass a lot of blood. In the days following I did pass what is thought to have been the pregnancy

GCA flare
Diagnosed April 2018 with PMR. Three months later GCA. I am currently on 3mgs prednisolone. Over the last two days have scalp pain on right side only … no jaw pain. It feels a bit like I am getting a cold sore but no cold sore showing up. Could it be a GCA flare? Thank you to everyone who replies.

Clearblue digital....
Hello, Does anyone here have experience with the clearblue digital? I am 6dp5dt, and it is showing 1-2 weeks, but because i have had 2 chemicals, i am worried this is just another one. I am regretting doing a urine test , my hcg blood test is on Wednesday.

is HCG monitoring needed ?
hello I had a positive pregnancy test yesterday (from euploid frozen embryo transfer by embryo donor) and an initial HCG test with a level of 410 which the nurse said is very good. I am now unclear about whether I need to keep monitoring HCG levels like most of my friends did when they went through ivf

1 Year Anniversary (Nov 16)
Good evening, Yesterday, Nov 16, 2023, was the one year anniversary for my kidney transplant. She has soldiered forward without faltering as we’ve battled very

Vaccines – at what point do they become a disbenefit?
I need to state out front that I’m not anti vaccination, I believe in the benefits having had several as a kid and now 6 anti COVID doses. But I’m now being bombarded with NHS offers of several different vaccines, COVID, Flu and shingles among them, and it has made me think of possible issues before

HCG tests where?
I see people posting the HCG tests every few days. Is that done by the NHS? Is it something private or you can do at home? in any case where do you book the tests? Thanks

I make trying to suppress EBV a leg of my supplement strategy.
I replied to a comment with this comment, then decided to share it as a post also:
As somebody who has been exposed to EBV (mono), I make trying to suppress EBV a leg of my supplement strategy. I need to write up everything I think helps with EBV, but here is a short list: -

Venetoclax has been added to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme in Australia for use as a retreatment for CLL/SLL
In more good news, today the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) in Australia added venetoclax to its listings for the retreatment of CLL/SLL in those whose disease relapses/progresses after an initial venetoclax-based therapy has controlled it. The PBS Listing states: [i]"Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia

8 weeks and 5 days pregnant with symptoms easing
Hi! I'm really worried because I'm now 8 weeks and 5 days pregnant and my symptoms are easing of, I have read online that it should be the worse now between week 9 and 10, I'm still really tired, slightly sore boobs but they never got to sore to start with, my nausea is really mild the last few days

Cold and MTX
Hello everyone I've had a cold, bunged up nose, sore throat and slight chesty cough since Tuesday. I'm scheduled to take my weekly MTX on Sunday. Should I take it? I seem to remember reading that I could safely miss a dose and it was actually advised that you should temporary stop the medication if unwell

Cold in September
Hi all didn't take long for me to pick up a cold I work with kids. Yesterday I woke up with a cold and my asthma flaring up. Struggled through work with salamol. Took my rescue steriods last evening and this morning. No work today and resting at home. Salamol at regular intervals. Feel wiped out, no
