TSH level 1.3 mU/L (0.27 - 4.2) free T4 level 14.6 pmol/L (11.0 - 22.0) C reactive protein level < 1 mg/L (0.0 - 5.0) Cholesterol level 8.6 mmol/L HDL cholesterol level 1.9 mmol/L (>1.1) Cholesterol/HDL ratio 4.5 Non high density lipoprotein

Finally got LDL down below 70 mg/DL ( 1.8 mmol/L)
I was first found to have fairly severe atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) in September 2016 by a voluntary Calcium Score (CT) test . Does Type-2 diabetes affect cholesterol levels?
Hi All, I did a lipid profile test 2 days ago. These are the results. Total Cholesterol -> 253mg/dL (desirable < 200) -> Very High Triglycerides -> 108 mg/dL (desirable < 150) HDL Cholesterol -> 47 mg/dL (desirable > 40) LDL Cholesterol -> 184 mg/dL(desirable < 100) -> Very High VLDL Cholesterol
