Covid and a hive type rash
I’m Day 3 of having Covid (got it from hubby who’s today thankfully tested negative 😃) I’m not too bad now congestion wise, just feeling absolutely flawed & little appetite, plus napping a lot. I have a sensitive skin at the best of times, but today I’ve developed a really bad itchy/hives type skin

body giving up on me after Covid… the saga continues!
Hi all - body is still really giving up on me after contracting Covid in May and struggling to put it all right. I’ve had pernicious anaemia for many, many years but never experienced anything like this. My B12 definitely isn’t working properly and neither is my stomach! First came the tanking ferritin

Covid
Could I ask if anyone has had covid recently and it's knocked them for six? I never tested positive all over the lock down even though I was working. Had a bilateral subdural haematoma 2.5 years ago and feel totally wiped out with it. Thanks for listening.

Covid vaccine
Does anyone know anything about the availability of the Covid jab over the autumn/winter? I have heard nothing. My last jab was in February. Apparently Covid is on the rise. I’m thinking of getting a private vaccine, but apparently these may not cover the latest variants.

Covid again - watch this space!- Update
Hi all, remember my post above from last week well I said I would update Monday after the test. You guessed it…. I fell really ill. I went out for a walk Monday morning and wasn’t feeling that bad but Monday afternoon it started taking hold of me, just feeling really poorly (what do I mean by poorly?

Covid Sick Day Rules
Well, after 4 years having successfully avoiding Covid, I finally tested positive today after returning from a river cruise where half the guests seemed to be coughing and sneezing by the end of the week! I had started to reduce from 12mg to 11mg on Sunday too. I don’t feel too bad with it yet, sinus

covid
hi I am now week two of covid (for the first time) but still have a fever, so so tired and congested, I contacted 111 when it started and they said I am not entitled to anti virals even though on rituximab infusions which I had the last one at the start of July. Doctors said the same but how long will

Covid and pavlovid
I tested positive for Covid today after taking my grandkids to the fair on Friday. I just saw that CKD patients should take 2 pills of Pavlovid a day instead of 3. The person I talked to at my doc's office, not the doc himself, didn't notice the CKD, and I'm not even sure myself, as my "osmalality" is

Trintellix
My doctor started me on Trintellix 5 mg. I took it for 4 weeks with no major issues, but then he increased it to 10 mg and it hit me like a ton o f bricks. My anxiety was over the roof, my thoughts were extremely bad, and I normally do not have depression, but I did then. I had my first panic attack

Back on the road again!
Hi there all. After a fractured patella, torn calf muscle and Covid, I'm finally up to 5k again! I've been going to the gym throughout (except for Covid, obvs) so at 61 I'm stronger than I've been for years and my Garmin is finally admitting that according to my VO2Max I actually *am* only 61 and not

COVID FLARE?
I've been down to zero prednisone for about three weeks, still on Kevzara. I have had Covid for a week and tonight my shoulder hurts. Could this be a flare?

Nitrofurantoin - good or bad?
Not sure that this is posted in the best place, but I don't seem to be able to access any other links atm. I have been prescribed this antibiotic for traces of blood in urine just over 2 days ago. 50mg to be taken at night. Only on the third dose so it's early days, but had quick urine test done

What is your preference
for a pre winter information giving session? You are always so incredibly helpful. Our local service is thinking of offering a pre winter information drop in day and have asked me what I think it might be helpful for respiratory patients to know before winter sets in ! This is designed to help us
