I've been down to zero prednisone for about three weeks, still on Kevzara. I have had Covid for a week and tonight my shoulder hurts. Could this be a flare?

COVID FLARE?

Have you been lying down a lot? What sort of pain is it and what movement have you got?

Without more info, you're likely to get a value reply - could be, might not be... wait and see scenario. Have you done anything different - other than get Covid... any other symptoms.
I invariably choose to lie on my right side to sleep. As the night goes on, the right shoulder does feel moderate pain. Then, I take 2 extra strength Tylenol which keeps me comfortable for the rest of the night. Occasionally, I take the Tylenol at bedtime. (I do suffer from osteoarthritis as well as PMR.) I tend to use my right arm for heavy lifting and for reaching, so that is probably a contributing factor. If both shoulders felt pain, I would be more likely to attribute the pain to PMR rather than osteoarthritis.
Thank you! Also with Covid I was laid flat in bed for several days.
