Alternative treatment, ie Thai massage

Hi, has anyone tried Thai massage for wear and tear symptoms and how useful was it? Its just that we have a cleaner who recommends it when she had treatment for neck pain. She said that nhs physio, chiropractor and osteopathy had'nt worked previously but the Thai practitioner 'knew' what the problem was almost instantaneously, it took about 3-4 sessions but shes now pain free. May be horses for courses and just a positive anecdote but i wondered if anyone else had tried it? Cheers!
