Another positive lymph node
Is it time to start thinking about
chemotherapy
agents? Thanks all, I just want to make sure I'm doing everything I can for my father.

What should I expect at the end?
My dad 77 year old had been battling castration resistant prostate cancer for many years. He was in remission for awhile (unsure exactly how long as he was secretive about the whole thing) however it made a huge comeback in January of 2022 and he has been through a short stint of chemo as well as

Enhertu side effect: pneumonitis (lung inflammation)
Hi all, After 3 years on oral meds I had to switch to IV chemo in December and started with Enhertu. After my 2nd infusion I developed pneumonitis (lung inflammation), which is a known risk with Enhertu and can be dangerous if left untreated. The main intial symptom is a persistent dry cough, indicating

Good Morning
Hope you are doing well. I am on the same medication. The same thing happened to me. I was in total shock 😲 I was told I would not loose my hair. I had my hair stylish cut it short. If you shave it your scapl will be more tender. Best of luck. Stay Strong 💪 Ps I found so many cute hats on Amazon

I’m game to try couch to 5K
I’ve been through
chemotherapy
in 2020 Relapsed early 2021 and went through second series of chemo - finished March 2021. I’ve had no energy since. Maybe due to long covid as well as recovery from intense chemo. I thought I would give Couch to 5K a go but worried it might be too much. Any tips?

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
Age 81. I had prostate radiation in 2021, and pelvic node radiation in 2023. PSA was 3.78 in Dec 2023. PSMA PET then showed cancer growing in prostate, shrinking in pelvic node, but spread to an abdominal node. I have started ADT with Orgovyx (relugolix) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants

Ramp 201 Trial
That was in January 2022 when I was debating whether or not to have
chemotherapy
, with high risk of it being resisted in cases of low grade serous ovarian cancer.

Provenge (only) - impact on overall survival
I just got insurance approval for Provenge...out of pocket is really high so now I'm doing a cost benefit analysis in my mind. I've seen many different articles showing that Provenge ALONE only extends overall survival by 4-15 months. Does that sound correct? Tall_Allen mentioned adding xofigio for

To Chemo or Not to Chemo--that is the ?
Should I follow my MO's advice and do docetaxel? Since I'm now 78, and have read terrible accounts of chemo, I have held onto the belief that I would do everything to avoid chemo since the treatment appears to be worse than the alternative. But she's really not giving me an alternative, other than

Bowel Symptoms, Post Surgery 10 weeks, started pre-chemo and continuing/evolving
Hello again lovely ladies. I had my first Carbo/Taxol infusion last Thursday. The day before I had to go to the dentist as I had bad jaw ache and thought it must be a tooth infection. It wasn't luckily. (I think I had had pre-chemo nerves-related nightmares the previous two nights and had been grinding

Hair Loss
My husband (David) is beginning to lose some of his hair from Chemo treatment do all patients lose their hair on docetaxel (taxotere). It is falling out in a lot of strains when he showers. Do all patients on this chemo lose all their hair or does it just get thinner. He has had no other bad side effects

My CLL has Transformed
Finally had a pet scan on May 28 which showed extensive transformed disease above and below the diaphram with extensive head and neck disease, a pelvic mass and spleenomegaly. I am going for a biopsy next week to confirm diagnosis. If RT confirmed, then I will be admitted to Upenn for 5 days of intensive

liver Mets, Pluvicto failed
diagnosed 2021, spread to distant lymph nodes. Castrate resistant within 6 months. Had platinum based chemo. Stabilized for bit. 4 Pluvicto treatments. PSA went from 4 to 70. Latest scans show new mets to liver. Genetic testing shows ATM mutation. Where to go from here?

RIP TCEInvestments
With deep sorrow I am letting you know that this poster has finally lost his prostate cancer battle 1/25/24. He valiantly and relentlessly fought for 22 years and was Stage 4 for 8 years. With no more treatments available except another round of chemo with a different drug which his body could not withstand

Maintenance Chemo
I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrioid cancer five years ago. I went through chemo treatments: carboplatin and taxol. I even had IP belly washes of taxol. They are not doing these any longer in the US. Sadly, my cancer reoccurred six months ago. I was cancer free and in remission for five years. The

Final Pluvicto treatment completed
My husband had his 6th and final Pluvicto treatment on January 19th. I don't attend these appointments but the Nuclear Doctor said his bone marrow looked good and labs were steady. I took lemon Squares for the staff for the follow up Scan. Scans have shown little changes after all these months but
