Stage 4 OC with liver metastasis

Any guidance or anyone with Cancer metastasis to Liver? My mother has stage 4 Ovarian Cancer which even after chemo has spread to Liver. Her bilrubin levels are not coming under control infact are increasing and situation is not improving. She’s extremely weak and low on energy. Doctors saying nothing can be done until bilrubin levels are in range and even with a stunt the levels are increasing.

She’s is on a plant based diet and she’s extremely weak.

Anyone here with any advice? Any options/alternatives, similar experience and saw improvement?

Getting extremely worried.

hello, so sorry to hear about your mom’s situation. Why only plant based diet? Are you giving her enough protein? This could explain weakness. I would suggest adding some protein such as eggs or fish. I personally also take supplements such as Chlorella, Spirulina, milk thistle and dandelion to detox the liver . Might be interesting to try. High doses of milk thistle especially. Wishing you and your mom all the best!
