This combination was based upon the KEYNOTE-355 trial which randomized TNBC MBC patients who had not previously taken chemotherapy in the metastatic setting to receive either Keytruda plus chemotherapy or chemotherapy alone.

3 months after chemotherapy

Anyone with similar results after chemotherapy treatment? Wishes for a good Christmas, and a 2021 with good responses to treatments. Thanks.

Tinnitus from Cisplatin chemotherapy

Hello Ovacome community, Has anyone experience of tinnitus as a result of receiving Cisplatin, or another chemo ( seems to be side affect of platinum chemos). This hissing started last Thursday, it’s loud and distressing causing hearing impairment. It’s constant. I had cycle 2 of Cisplatin & Etoposide

Hair colouring (dying) and Hydroxyurea

I've been on it for 4 weeks and haven't noticed any issue with my hair, but dying isn't usually recommended on chemotherapy drugs, which I thought hydroxywas.

Colon Mass Secondary to Lung Cancer

My father had upper right lung lobectomy in 2017 and finished chemotherapy, now he has a colon mass, his gastro doctor said he needs to undergo chemotherapy first to make the tumor smaller then will proceed to surgery. I am confused. Worried. What if it will grow more...

COVID-19 Vaccine and Chemotherapy

Guys just wondering if anyone has had a Covid-19 vaccine and on Chemo? How have you felt? Any side effects? I’m on a trail chemo and my oncologist said go ahead, along with the trial drug company. I’m due to have Oxd/AV on Saturday. A nurse at Cancer Hospital said her experience of staff having vaccination

Carboplatin is it the big hitter

A lot of chemotherapy seems to start off with carbo and carry on with something else either separate or combined. Is Carbo the big honcho and the others mainly back ups?

Covid19 vaccines and prostate cancer —amended

If you are currently doing chemotherapy (not to be confused with hormone therapy), then, the chances of you developing a meaningful immune response (which is the mechanism by which a vaccine is effective) is very low to nil.

Psa rising whilst having chemotherapy

Hi everyone I have had prostate cancer for years and I am now at the stage where it has progressed to lymph nodes and a bit on my bones, hormone therapy stopped working so I have been put on chemotherapy to try to shrink it but not cure it.

Is Chemotherapy the last and only treatment for CRPC?

I was left with the impression that chemotherapy was the end game and that it might only provide a minimal survival benefit.
