Advise please had in last 2years carboplatin and paxo two lots 6 sessions 3 lots surgery stoma hysterectomy any advice on just carboplatin 2 hour sessions as its now spread to nodules hair just started to grow back slowly wondering if side effects will be as severe with 2 hours instead

I have stage 4b serous endometrial cancer and am looking for supplements that will complement my soon start chemo therapy regime - placitaxel + carboplatin + keytruda. My oncologist has recommended B6 and l-glutamine to fend off neuropathy and cautioned against tumeric. Unfortunately, the integrative

Abireterone was discontinued at the start of chemo and he is not on any medications while on chemotherapy. Do you think that he should start with enzalutamide or darolutamide along with chemotherapy?

Anyway, my question is:Docetaxel is classified as one of the most toxic chemotherapy treatments available. I also know there's no telling how each individual will react. Could you guys share your experience with this medication?. Thanks in advance. Galo.

I will be starting chemotherapy hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Just wondered from all those out there whilst I know the treatment sounds daunting, will it help me to cope ?just feel in limbo at the moment whilst waiting. Thank you

Happy New Year everyone- I’m supporting my brother - he was diagnosed at stage 4 - he’s entering his fourth year since diagnosis & has had various treatments- what happens after 4th line chemotherapy?

PSMA pet scan showed disease progression and he started chemotherapy - docetaxel +Carboplatin in Dec 24. Enzalutamide was added after 6 cycles when PSMA pet scan showed mixed response of chemotherapy. PSA is still increasing and has reached 37. Nadir was 0.14 in August 2024.

Hello everyone, During initial treatments my father was given docetaxel chemotherapy, but within minutes of infusion he experienced a severe reaction and fainted. Since then, he has been on hormone therapy and oral drugs like Nubeqa and Zytiga.

Looking options besides chemotherapy for the next phase in this battle.

Has anyone experienced receding gums following Docetaxel chemotherapy. I went to my dentist today and I have 2 teeth where the gums have receded to the point of exposing bone. I have been referred to an oral surgeon. As always, thanks in advance for any insight.

I have been on chemotherapy treatment for 6 months now and have been eating so much better than before my treatment so I feel it has done me some good. If there is anyone who has the same condition can you please tell me what happens after chemotherapy treatment. Many thanks Andy L.

The pathology report suggested the following reasons (liver disease, hypothyroidism, medication, ARVs, Chemotherapy, alcohol! andVitamin B12/folate deficiency).
