I'm undergoing chemotherapy. I hope to find answers to various important questions in the group.

Advise please had in last 2years carboplatin and paxo two lots 6 sessions 3 lots surgery stoma hysterectomy any advice on just carboplatin 2 hour sessions as its now spread to nodules hair just started to grow back slowly wondering if side effects will be as severe with 2 hours instead

Anyway, my question is:Docetaxel is classified as one of the most toxic chemotherapy treatments available. I also know there's no telling how each individual will react. Could you guys share your experience with this medication?. Thanks in advance. Galo.

Abireterone was discontinued at the start of chemo and he is not on any medications while on chemotherapy. Do you think that he should start with enzalutamide or darolutamide along with chemotherapy?

I will be starting chemotherapy hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Just wondered from all those out there whilst I know the treatment sounds daunting, will it help me to cope ?just feel in limbo at the moment whilst waiting. Thank you

Invasive carcinoma present at margin 10/21/2024 - 12/18/2024 Chemotherapy OP DOCETAXEL D1 EVERY 21 DAYS X 6 CYCLES

Hello everyone, During initial treatments my father was given docetaxel chemotherapy, but within minutes of infusion he experienced a severe reaction and fainted. Since then, he has been on hormone therapy and oral drugs like Nubeqa and Zytiga.

I have been on chemotherapy treatment for 6 months now and have been eating so much better than before my treatment so I feel it has done me some good. If there is anyone who has the same condition can you please tell me what happens after chemotherapy treatment. Many thanks Andy L.

PSMA pet scan showed disease progression and he started chemotherapy - docetaxel +Carboplatin in Dec 24. Enzalutamide was added after 6 cycles when PSMA pet scan showed mixed response of chemotherapy. PSA is still increasing and has reached 37. Nadir was 0.14 in August 2024.

Thyroid problem was diagnosed as related to chemotherapy for throat cancer. Blood test was taken at 9.30 in the morning

Started Chemotherapy again after Avastin didn’t work as maintenance. Disappointing especially as Olaparib also didn’t work for me in 2023. After being mostly bald for the past two years (was told Caelyx wouldn’t lose my hair!).

What then is the best treatment Chemotherapy ie Carboplatin or trial with immunotherapy? What folks experiencing?

The PC had already spread to spine and radiation and chemotherapy along with ADT (firmagon and Nubeqa) seem to have put it in a sort of remission. My PSA has been undetectable for 15 months. Just after chemotherapy I had a genetic test which came back positive for the BRCA2 mutation.

will be needed a stem cell transplant after my third round for Flagida Chemotherapy. Has anyone had similar?
