Jevtana
Then Pa starts talking about treating him with another
chemotherapy
called Jevtana instead of Pluvicto. That was not even discussed with his Doctor at the last visit. His Oncologist insisted on him taking chemo using Taxotere which he took 6 rounds of treatment.

Chemotherapy- to do or not at 82 years ?
Would welcome views and experiences of those around my age who have done
chemotherapy
along with adt plus ARPI. Was it very tough on the body ? Was the chemo started after the arpi was added or before it? What is the determining factor to decide if
chemotherapy
has to be added ? Thank you

Poole Conference 14 March 2024
Theme Navigating Treatment Pathways beyond
Chemotherapy
. I am on watch and wait and fairly new to this site. I attended the conference to get a better insight into treatments available. As we all know we are all different and different treatments suit different people.

A quick introduction
Apparently I responded well to the treatment as my MO put my
chemotherapy
on “pause” after four rounds. PSA had come down to 0.78. I see my MO again on January 5th and we will determine where we go from here, I supposed based on the results of my blood “labs.”

High BLood Pressure, Kidney failure, cause discovered
So,
chemotherapy
is helping. On 4 different chemo meds. Tolerating them fairly well, and learning how to balance life. Scheduled for a stem cell transplant end of April, or early May. Stem cell doctor told me my kidney function should return to normal with the transplant.

Update re ASCT relapse
Due to my cll returning and having had several new lines of treatment my consultants both my Cll specialist and my transplant specialist have offered me Rchop
chemotherapy
as one of my few options. This treatment I believe is not used to treat cll but used to treat lymphomas.

Phase III Study: Saruparib Combo with New Hormonal Agents in mCSPC +/- HRR Mutations: AUA 2024 EvoPAR-Prostate01 Trial
As such, there is a need for effective treatments in mCSPC that can delay initiation of
chemotherapy
and progression to mCRPC. Combinations of PARP inhibitor plus new hormonal agents have demonstrated clinical benefit in patients with mCRPC [1-3].
