Has anyone used champix?
Hi. I have just been to my local stop smoking clinic and I've been put on champix tablets which I start tomorrow. I'm also going to stop smoking tomorrow. I tried a couple of weeks ago and managed 2 weeks with the help of patches but I started getting a reaction to them, stopped using them, started smoking

Tomorrow is two weeks since I have finished the champix.
The last two weeks were pretty bad. But today I feel better. But most of today I have been craving a cig. This is by far the worst day yet. The good news is I didn't smoke. I just keep telling myself that tomorrow will be better.

Nearly 8 months off the fags
Well con't believe how easy I've found giving up the dreaded cancer sticks after 35 years, couldn't have done it without Champix and my lovely smoking cesation nurse Sara, whom I have become great friends with, we meet up once a month to have a gossip which is great. Yes champix was horrid at times but

60 Days š
Reached 60 days now & cant wait for my hols on Friday to Sorrento. Have struggled with the CHAMPIX to be honest but made a decision last week to halve the morning dose & cut out the night one. It has worked wonders & no cravings at all. Prob because I am approaching the end of the 12 week course. Good

After six days of hell there is hopefully a light at the end of the tunnel.
I thought the first three days off champix were bad. Day four and five were mostly spent in bed. Pounding headache, upset stomach and felt like I had bugs crawling on my upper body. Yesterday the headache was finally gone but was really light headed all day. I am still a little light headed today but

Day 81of not smoking
I have been doing some reading today about champix. I am now wondering if I am having withdrawal from the champix. I do feel a little better today.

Rough day today!
Well finished my champix two days ago. When I got up this morning I was agitated, lightheaded and kept thinking about smoking. I went shopping and for two walks to clear my head. I hope this passes or the next 12 weeks will be harder than the first 12. I do feel better tonight and not constantly thinking

Things are going great!
Now into my 11th week of champix, 10th week of not smoking. My friend is still here and she is a heavy smoker. I actually sat outside with her and a friend, They both smoked while we chatted. I didn't want one. I think because she smokes such strong cigarettes it has helped. I just think wow I use to

Now 30 days smoke free!
Got to 30 days on my life changing journey! Nearly finished my 6th week on Champix. Feeling proud of myself - but still suffering with bad sleep patterns. To anyone out there who is just starting to quit - hang on in there - itās worth it. If I can do it after 50 years of smoking so can you. Have faith

Hopefully when I am done my champix the cigarette smoke will still smell awful.
My friend arrived from England yesterday. She is staying with us for two weeks and she is a smoker. This is the first time I have been around a smoker since I started the champix. She is an outside smoker. The smell is awful. I have to walk away because I feel like I want to throw up. As a smoker you

What to expect after champix?
Once I am done my twelve weeks of champix what can I expect? I am planning a trip to visit my mother, week after I finish my champix. She lives in a small town and not a lot to do there. My sister lives with her. My sister is a smoker. She does smoke outside. Should I put my trip off to a later date

Introduce myself
I used
Chantix
to quit. I did the morning dose only and used it for about 5 weeks. There are times Iām ready to just pick up a pack and go back to smoking, but then I think about how hard this is and that Iād have to start over. Wish me luck please!

Fluttering feeling in stomach! - Difficulty in sleeping
When I started on day 8 on Champix (1mg) had difficulty sleeping that night and last night (Day9) had a strange fluttering feeling in my stomach. Eventually got off but felt half asleep & half awake! Has anyone experienced this? Due to quit tomorrow Day10. Had no problem sleeping on the first 7 days

Day 1 of Champix
Very relieved to say up to 10 hours after taking 1st Tablet NO side effects yet! Am not clear whether you should continue to smoke for a week or so or quit sooner if you feel ready? I already had reduced to 4 - 6 a day but just need that last push - any advice much appreciated.
