Hi all, I have not smoked since April and have done so well, I gave up with Champix and recommend them highly as i don't think I could have done it without. I have stopped taking the champix now after weaning off them, it's been about 3 weeks now but have found myself eating just about everything and

Hi, everyone, so I am writing all of the way from South Africa (been looking everywhere for South African blogs) but no luck, I hope it doesn't matter that I am not from UK/USA or wherever else, hehe. So,last night as my first Champix day (evening tablet, after food as recommended) did not feel sick

So nauseated.....
I am at week 4 and 2 days of Champix. And at Day 13 of non-smoking. Champix was great and truly no nausea till 5 days ago....... In the 5 days I get heavy nausea right after taking the pill (10 minutes or so) which lasts for several hours. Nausea from the morning pill and nausea from the evening pill

Smoking. !!!
I am writing as I am wondering if there's something seriously wrong with me or is it a personal issue. I am still a smoker with emphysema and two weeks ago I went to the Dr, not my usual one at the practice, and when I asked her for Zyban which I have used before and it made me stop smoking, she said

Popping in to say Hi, 10 months smoke free đź‘Ť
Hi, I haven't posted for ages but I was reminded to pop back when I received an email, someone was asking about Champix. I started taking Champix Oct 2017 ( Stoptober) I gave up smoking completely on the 23rd Oct. Back then - I was on here all the time, looking for support and advice, the help was amazing

Hi Everone I’m new here, have been smoking (with a few quits here and there, the longest being 6 months about six years ago!) and have tried everything - cold turkey, zyban, Champix twice!, hypnotherapy, patches, gum, lozenges, vaping - to quit. At 52, I’m about to embark on another effort. I’ve ordered

Disheartened
Hi all, I’ve been taking Champix for 14 days now and don’t feel any urge to quit smoking. I know it’s not a miracle pill or nicotine replacement and I understand that it still takes some will power but feel as though I’m just going to have to go cold turkey so to speak. Has anyone had a similar experience

three weeks on champix
Three weeks on campus now and not smoked for three days now. Feeling very proud of myself today. After smoking for around 23 years think I'm winning now.

Sore Gums
Hi Community, My husband and I have been smoke free for 4 weeks (yay) with the help of Champix. We have both got extremely sore gums, that started 2 weeks ago, it's fine until I eat something - and I have to eat to take the Champix - has anyone else experienced this? Went to my dentist today and he said

12 days without a cigarette and using Champix
Is it just me or has anyone else at this stage of quitting had a pretty much permanent feeling of being in some weird, surreal, timeless dream?

Setting quit date on Friday!
Starting
Chantix
again today in hopes in quitting AGAIN! I'm so anxious I can barely stand it. While quitting for 6 months I gained 80 pounds! Stressing on gaining more weight on top of the 215 I'm at now.

One week... bring it on!
Officially 1 hour into my 7th day woohoooo! And... 14 days into my Champix course :). Days 1-3 were relatively easy, I worked from home on my first day so had a chance to rest (not deal with people basically) Ventured into work on my 4th day after hacving bite to eat and my morning dose of Champix. 1 year smoke free
I still can’t quite believe that I’ve been smoke free for a year (Hope I got my exact date right Roisin). Time has really flown & I can safely say that with some help of Champix, this forum, my boyfriend’s encouragement & air smoking a straw for a while...lol, the cravings passed & I very rarely even

Pro Quitter - First time on Champix with some side effects...
Hello! I've quit and started multiple times. I find its best for me to go CT. My last stint was 6 months, which ended up with me falling off the wagon. I feel like I needed more help this time so got a prescription of Champix and am on my 8th day! I have been now nicotine free for 24 hours, and honestly
