Smear test
Hi everyone I hope you are well. So I was hoping to get booked in to start my fet next week when af arrives as unfortunately I didn’t get in last month. 😫 I’ve been speaking to my clinic over the last few weeks as my smear is up mid October and they advised to get it early as tf will be on the same

Chronic Pelvic Pain - Experiences and Advice
Hi everyone! First time poster here. I was hoping some of you may be open to sharing your experiences, and any advice you have on the next step. My story: I'm 21, have been a registered nurse for 3 years, and I'm currently doing a graduate certificate that includes women's health. The reason for this

Abnormal smear
So 12 years ago I was under colcoscopy for extreme changes for which I had treatment, back & forth over the years all seems to be ok? Recalled back in 3wks as results have come back as borderline changes ☹️

Abnormal smear
Hi, so I had a letter saying my smear showed I was hpv positive and they found I have borderline cells. I am quite lucky as they booked me in for Monday morning and I got both my letters yesterday, so not really very long to wait! Its also quite scary that they managed to fit me in so quick... I guess

Infuriating
it is rarely diagnosed hence the late discovery. This is a failure of generalists for whom it doesnt exist even female docs. An ultrasound should be as common as pap smears. Also there are few trials as opposed to breast cancer. So we are victims of close minded medecine . Now there are trials for

Completed another consolidation run yesterday...still hate love running
Am so, so pleased with myself. A couple of you know the struggle I have had with asthma and severe hayfever/sinuses. I, basically, am not built to run. However, I think it is one of the greatest achievements I have had is graduating from C25K. I am still very much at the mercy of the pollen gods, and

One step closer.... 🤞🏻
Hello 👋 So after the crazy horrible last few months of waiting and frustration, I’ve finally been told we can go ahead with our first FET 🙂. This is after it was nearly put on hold again because of a polyp found in my smear test last week, my clinic called me in on Friday morning though and removed

Unusual Cervix referral
Hi All, New here. I went to the doctors on Friday for the usual 3 year smear test. The nurse examined me and said she needed to get the doctor to have a look as she didn't think it looked quite right. The Doctor came in and performed her own examination and agreed that it didn't look or feel right.

Smearing soap into my TV screen
Hi, The other day I was cleaning noticeable fingerprints off my TV when I got the intrusive thought/obsession "What if you just ran and purposefully pumped soap and smeared it on your TV screen?" It was an out of nowhere thought. Now I'm trying to understand how ERP would address this specific situation

No withdrawal bleed when on combined pill?
My first post... I've been on the combined pill for around 15 years now. I don't think I've ever had a break from it, but have changed pill over the years (Dianette, Yasmin, Cilest, Lizinna). I keep going through about a 4/5 month block where I don't have a withdrawal bleed during my 7 day break. I do

Crying because I have just broken my phone... HATE hormones! HATE trying to be positive when life just keeps throwing you S**T!
Going to bed knocked my phone off my table and snapped the charger in my phone! Couldn't care less about the phone materialistic things have never bothered me. Yet I'm sat here crying about it , just seems like another bad thing! I know it is soo pathetic in the grand scheme of things, but I have been

Shoulder dystocia birth
Hi ladies, My first birth 5.5 years ago was extremely painful because of shoulder dystocia. I had gas and air throughout contractions but I was told to lay off the gas and air while I was pushing. I remember shouting in pain that baby couldn't fit. I was doing all the necessary pushing at the right

What should I do
Painless Rectal Bleeding for about the last 6 months. Visited my own local doc who completed an exam and could not see anything and out it down to a fissure and advised me on water and fibre. Have done this and this has helped but I still get rectal bleeding when passing a motion. Haven't noticed anything

Don’t put this gift in your mouth
Our son kindly sent a anniversary gift of Foie Royale ( goose liver pate ) I forgot about the warning not to eat pate whilst on Humira.unfotunately I was suffering upset stomach for 24 hrs +.i wouldn’t mind but I’d had very little just 2 small crackers with a smear of deliciousness. What a shame it’s
