Hi, so I had a letter saying my smear showed I was hpv positive and they found I have borderline cells. I am quite lucky as they booked me in for Monday morning and I got both my letters yesterday, so not really very long to wait!
Its also quite scary that they managed to fit me in so quick... I guess that's due to having less people in due to covid.
The worst thing is I put my smear off for a bit because I kept forgetting. Just after a bit of reassurance I guess!

Thank you for your message. Please don't worry that by being seen for a colposcopy more quickly than expected, it means there is something more serious going on. Services were initially very delayed due to Covid, but are getting 'back to normal' now so it's highly likely that your hospital are just able to see patients sooner now that things are settling down.

Thank you. The Dr said it looked pretty healthy, but took a biopsy anyway. He thinks it will show cin1 at most and then they will leave me a year before screening again as normally it clears up on its own. So feeling more positive and less scared now!
Hi again Cin1 can very easily clearup on its own hence just monitoring you which is great but even if it there next time you will get ur treatment. Glad ur reasured take care hope otherwise you are well.Dont worry whilst waiting for your results as you are in the process which is good .
So... Had my results this week and they found some precancerous cells and gave booked me in for treatment in 2 weeks. Wasn't quite what I expected! Least it's soon
