On top of psoriatic arthritis & Chrons, now diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
I'm currently on Stelara, hydroxychloroquine,
celecoxib
. Prednisolone, plus the usual supplements. Have lost 10kgs in the last year, not easy when on steroids and limited exercise due to evil joints, I don't drink/smoke, eat pretty well apart from a penchant for chocolate!

Pmr and arthritis
I was prescribed
celecoxib
for the arthritis, in addition to my regular prednisone. Has anyone else found themselves here? How did you manage?

Arthritis and pmr
I was prescribed 200 mg
celecoxib
, which I started this morning. Anyone have experience with this drug, I am currently using 6 mg prednisone. Your collective wisdom has been my lifeline with pmr, and I expect others also have arthritis. What have you done? Thanks everyone. Regards, Jerri

How to cope with the pain
I have been on gabapentin (for the sciatica) and
celecoxib
for the ra with cocodomol for if the pain gets really bad. I am hopefully going to move onto either Etanercept or Secukinumab shortly - I am waiting on the NHS to confirm that I can have it and send it out to me.

Chronic Pain
On my long journey over the years I've lost count of all the different types of treatments and spinal injections I've had, plus all the different types of medication I take, like Fentanyl, Oramorph, Gabapentin, Amitriptyline,
Celecoxib
, Venlafaxine, Trazodone and a few others for different things.

Just diagnosed with possibility of having Lupus
I been taking curcumin and Boswelia supplements for the past few months but the Dr has asked me to stop those and has started me on Celebrex (
celecoxib
). I'm quite hesitant to start on these NSAIDs since the Boswelia has been kind of working at suppressing my inflammation.

Persistent sore throat
I have worked my way through some anti-imflamatories-more recently
celecoxib
(which gave me a heart burn type pain) and etoricoxib which I seem to be tolerating. I'm still flaring though, and have been since last December. Still not back to work either.

no swelling or redness
I have been prescribed
celecoxib
to see how that works (i'm a bit worried re the side effects of heart and stroke problems) she did a chest x-ray yesterday and talked about methotrexate which also scares me. i wondered if anyone on this site was difficult to diagnose and would appreciate some feedback
