Lip biopsy
I would pose this question on the Sjogren’s forums but have not had much luck getting replies there and know many of you will have had this procedure done as part of your AI journeys, so hope you don’t mind if I pose it here. That’s a Louis Theroux documentary we need to see: AI journeys. My ENT doc

I’m afraid that I might have corneal neovascularization due to chronic eye inflammation. Any thoughts?
I’ve had chronic inflammation in my eyes for a couple of years now. For the first several months, I kept using hypromellose eye drops 3 times a day. It wasn’t until I got prescription glasses for my astigmatism when I realized I no longer needed the drops as badly as I used to. After some weeks with

Trabeculectomy surgery fear and changes to eyes appearance
Hi, I've recently been told I need trabeculectomy surgery for my normal tension glaucoma. I'm terrified! On top of the fear of the actual procedure I'm worried that it might change the appearance of my eye. Does it? I'm trying very hard not to be vane about it but I'm only 44 and my eyes have always

Eye ache
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia although, I have had the symptoms for about 5 years. I've recently developed a dull ache through my left eye. I'm not prone to eye infections or anything like that and as this occurs more when I'm having a flare up I'm wondering if this is some kind

Glaucoma ptosis migraine aneurysm?
Hi looking for reassurance. Over the last year I have had severe migraines, a ptosis correction and open angle glaucoma diagnosed. My eye specialist keeps asking me if I have had a MRI scan with contrast? I haven’t and have in the past dismissed the question. But today I saw a new eye specialist who

reducing steroids after flare
Having very slowly reduced my steroids , after over si x years with GCA the inflammation flared up after complications with my second cataract operation. My GP increased my steroids to 10mg which was not a huge amount when I was on 6mg. However a recent bloodtest showed that the ESR had gone down

Sjorgens
Hi is it common for Sjorgens to cause digestive problems? Feels similar to acid reflux, nausea, worse on waking after a night's sleep, very thirsty, after eating I have a generally unsettled stomach. My G.P thinks I may have Sjorgens. I also have dry eyes, dry skin and slightly swollen at the beginning

Musical Hallucinations or Earworms or Musical Ear Syndrome
I hear constant music notes or lyrics like a broken gramophone, other times it's nonsense words to music repeating like a broken gramophone. Which is it ? Anyone got a good way of dealing with it? I have found CBT and EMDR helpful along with a therapist and I understand Acceptance of it is KEY! But that

My Right lower Eyelid started to swelled up and it hurts
So yesterday morning my lower right eyelid started to hurt a little bit, but it really didn't bother me much. But on the same night it started to swell and hurts to the touch. I really don't know if it's a "Stye or Chalazion" or something worse. I'm planning to get it check out after a week to see if

Advice regarding high eye pressure
Hi, I hope you don’t mind me asking a question. I had an acute vitreous detachment with retinal tear on Xmas day and after 2 lots of laser treatment I went for my follow up. They couldn’t dilate my pupils to check the tear/if any more as my eye pressure had shot up to 32. It’s always been borderline.

Wrong Gonasi dosage, please help
So we injected the Gonasi syringe last night as directed by the clinic but we only used one vial of the 5000 units because it wasn’t clearly stated on the paperwork that I needed to open the other packet and use that vial as well! I’m having my egg retrieval tomorrow and I am absolutely devastated as

Down-regulation before FET??
Hi all, I've been having issues with a haemorrhagic cyst which led to the cancellation of my planned FET. My clinic asked me to wait and have a gonapeptyl injection on CD 22-27 - I assume this is for down-regulation purposes - the clinic have not provided any reasoning behind this or any explanation.
