Glaucoma ptosis migraine aneurysm?

Hi looking for reassurance.

Over the last year I have had severe migraines, a ptosis correction and open angle glaucoma diagnosed. My eye specialist keeps asking me if I have had a MRI scan with contrast? I haven’t and have in the past dismissed the question. But today I saw a new eye specialist who asked the same question when I asked him why. He said that it was very unusual to have open angle glaucoma in only one eye without being able to see an obvious reason! Because of this I possibly stupidly did some Googling! It seams all my symptoms and problems including occasional blurred vision in my left eye are all possible symptoms of an aneurysm. I did about a year ago have an MRI scan without contrast after a stroke like migraine. But nothing was obvious. Should I go back to GP and insist on a scan with contrast to rule an aneurysm out?? Your thoughts on this would be very helpful especially if anyone else has had the same issues.

Thanks

Hi Roy Race, as your eye specialist has recommended the MRI you should certainly contact your GP to ask for this. I wouldn't delay if I was you.

Hello. Your eye specialist should be able to refer you for an MRI with contrast. You shouldnt have to go through your GP. I would call the eye secretary and ask if it could be arranged through them.
