Trying to come off Bisoprolol and hearing long term side effects Inc vascular dementia
Hi all, I am now over a year post ablation and attempting to wean off all drugs. Yet hearing that bisoprolol is an anticholinergic which can be a risk for vascular dementia. I have a family history of dementia and have felt some short term memory issues.. Has anyone else been aware of this ? I

Atrial natriuretic peptide
So I went on a bit of an adventure. My last episode, while again still thankfully not as intense as previous episodes, had an interesting twist that I hadn't really noticed before. I had to pee 6 times in the space of an hour. So I went searching on the internet as we do, and I learned about atrial

Whacky baccy!
My children, concerned that I am getting the best help for my PMR, have talked about trying
CBD
or cannabis-based products. I have an appt with my GP and will ask his opinion, but would like to know if any other sufferers have tried this alternative therapy.

Techniques to stop A fib naturally
I read an article as I was in A fib and trying to research ways to get back into sinus rhythm. It was suggested that I close my mouth and hold my nose and try to blow as hard as possible. I tried it and it worked for me after one attempt. I'll try it again next time I'm in A fib, but thought I'd put

Just wondering if anyone else has had any long term success taking tiny doses of D-9 THC with

Short episode five months after ablation.
Do hope everyone is having a good day and has been able to enjoy this beautiful weather. I have PAF and had my first ablation 5 months ago. All was fine through recovery, some discomfort, some ectopics and loads of tiredness. Two and a half weeks ago the report was good in my post ablation consultation

Guanfacine and N-acetylcysteine (NAC-600 mg)
I recently posted a link to an article that talked about treating brain fog with a combination of Guanfacine, a prescription drug used for treating high blood pressure, and N-acetylcysteine (NAC-600 mg), which I gather is an over-the-counter supplement. Has anyone here had any experience with either

Cardioversion - preparation and aftercare - advice please!
Hi everyone, and hope a day of sunshine has raised spirits!I've been placed on a waiting list for cardioversion by my EP which I'm really happy about. I was diagnosed with AF last September or October (got a cat on my knee so can't get up to check the date!) and this rapidly progressed to persistent.

stroke
morning, My husband and i both have AF he has had it for about 7 years been on bisoprolol, rivaroxaban and atvorstatin for that time. On Saturday he had a stroke. I’m not really asking a question but its been such a shock, we don’t know why yet. He’s ok physically but cognitive skills are not good.
