AV Node Ablation and Medication
A few days ago I posted a query concerning the procedure re medication following an AV node abalation because, having made enquiries, I couldn't get a definitive answer as to what should be happening about coming off or reducing Sotalol. I had an appointment with the Pacemaker Clinic for last Friday

AV Node Ablation
Does anyone know the normal procedure following an AV Node ablation? I had this procedure done on 6 October and I have an appointment next Friday at the Pacemaker Clinic for my PM to be re-programed to 70 bpm and then 4 weeks later reduced again to 60 bpm. What I want to know is when and how I can reduce

Questions about AFIB
My local cardiologist believes i could be a good candidate for a
catheter
ablation
. Over the past 6 months i have seen my AF episodes increase from every 7 to 10 days to twice per week. Which is worrying.

endometrial ablation mistake
So I just had an ablation today as part of a hystropaphy investigation. Rather painful but okay. But nobody explained that it leaves you practically infertile. I feel so stupid. She asked did i have children I said one. She said avoid getting pregnant. I did not take this as you can never can get pregnant

AV node ablation with Pasmaker
Has anyone up there is surviving and how long since your AV node ablation and PM insertion? On July 28th I had put the PM in, and my EP doctor told me that in August I would have the Ablation. But his nurse said that the Doctor forgot to tell her to put me in the list for the Ablation procedure. I'm

AV Node Ablation Good News
After having 9 cardio versions (shock treatment) in the past two years and at the age of 77, I decided to go for quality of life and forego all the drugs that I have taken over the past few years. I tried two ablations and a few drug protocols of which none worked. After all of that and the worry of

What does your mitral regurgitation feel like?
I have MVP and moderate MR, with a history of
catheter
ablation
for Afib 2+ years ago. (The Afib was possibly caused by the MR, but the docs can’t say for sure.) My question to all: What does your mitral regurgitation feel like to you?

6 month post mini maze (surgical ablation) in the U.K. All is going well, no regrets
It is not as widely available as
catheter
ablation
sadly and so accessing mini maze is a postcode lottery unless you are fortunate and can access privately. Pic is of my daughter and I on a tender from our cruise ship on holiday in Oct.

Post lap update.
I had my laparoscopic bilateral ovarian cyst removal plus endometrial ablation and mirena fitting 😅 on the 18th April. Today is the 22nd May and no sign of a period. I came on the 16th last month. I had some pms and a tiny amount of pink in my pants on the 17th but since then nothing... I think that

AV Node Ablation and Pacemaker
Hi lovely people, I promised I’d get back to you after seeing a cardiologist/electrophysiologist privately. As you might guess from the title, this is what he believes will solve my problem. I will still be in persistent Afib, but won’t feel it. In the meantime he has doubled my digoxin dose and I will

hello to you all, I was diagnosed tachycardia with Flutter in June last year and as I have low BP and could not tolerate meds apart from Edoxaban 30mg daily plus I kept being sent to A&E due to feeling very poorly with balance issues caused by my low BP I was referred to an EP who decided as Bisosporol
