That's very encouraging. After a very unstable 6 month blanking period following my first ablation, I've now been in NSR for 12 months. Should this change I would certainly opt for another ablation rather than the dreaded beta blockers. Long may your NSR continue.
Wow, this is an encouraging post. I am now 8 months in NSR after 20 years of AF. 10 years of which were constant.I had 3 ablations last year after cardioversions only lasted a day or 2.
1st one classed as fail as couldn't isolate vein.
2nd one I only had nsr for 2 days.
3rd one the same.
Then, 5 months after that 3rd one as I was coming off meds to switch to heart failure medication, I achieved NSR.
So, I also had a "persistence pays off" experience.
I'm so grateful for the cardiologist and EP for persisting with me.
Here's hoping we both stay in a nice even rhythm! 🙂
