If so, did it help with your pain and bleeding for a while?
I have had 2 of the procedures so far. Symptoms coming back so I wonder if I would be allowed another one, gynae appointment soon & I always feel I need to tell them what I want.
Hope you are all having a pain free weekend ππππππππππππππ

I had novasure back in 2010 the bleeding came back threefold within 6 months. My gynae told me it was a new treatment that would eliminate endo and I wouldn't have a problem again. How wrong he was. At my 6 month follow up I was told I couldn't have it again and the only thing that would help would be a hysterectomy but refused to allow it as I was only in my 30's I know all hospitals are different and seem to have different ideas on endo treatment. Some gynaes I spoke to hadn't even heard of novasure. I spent the last 13 years suffering badly. Had an ablasion in 2019 after battling with various gynaes. That also didn't work. I have stage 4 with bowel and bladder problems because of adhesions. Having a hysterectomy next weekend. I hope you find an answer quickly.
I had Novasure ablation last July. Defo helped but not enough (I also have fibroids and cysts). I am due to have ablation again in August but this time by balloon method (forgotten the technical terminology) so hoping that works. Back to NHS to look at fibroid removal/hysterectomy but this will be some time off due to waiting lists. Iβm 46 so would be more than happy to have it all gone but I know that brings problems too. Canβt win! Whoβd be a woman!
hello thanks for your reply, yep I have been told there are problems when you have a hysterectomy too which is why I am put off having one. I worry it could make me even worse. I also see you have fibroids and cysts, in particular do you know what symptoms you are having with your fibroids? I am currently waiting for a scan as I am sure I have them x
bloating, pain and contributes to the heavy bleeding. Iβve one outside the uterus pushing into my bowel. Theyβre not that big actually but I know about them!
