Ablation 3 years out
Except for the damage caused by inserting the urinary
catheter
prior to the
ablation
that has caused me to have 3 cystoscopies and 1 urethroplasty, with 2 more urethroplasties still to come. It has been a rough ride but my heart is feeling good (knock on wood, again).

Pacemaker for atrial fibrillation
Being 87 years of age and after one
catheter
ablation
which only gave me 4-5 months of sinus rhythm it’s been decided to do a pace and ablate procedure next week.

Has anyone had an endometrial ablation and it caused low estrogen? What did you experience? I had one a few months ago and I haven’t felt right since, I got an infection which I called my doctor 3 times about and ended up in the ER, I’ve been experiencing severe mood swings, hot flashes, bouts of crying

Ablation for ectopic beats
I was wondering whether anyone had any experience regarding having an ablation because of ectopic beats and whether it was successful. My ectopic beats were first detected roughly 7 months ago and have since been undergoing cardiology investigations. I have so far had a 7 day ECG monitor and a echocardiogram

Visanne experiences?
I'm on my fourth day of taking Visanne for suspected endometriosis. Day one I had severe nausea and headache along with cramping although I was day 3 of my period. Day 2 headaches off and on and the pain in my side I've had for 10 years which led to this suspected diagnosis is very aggregated. Day 3

A couple of questions, 10 weeks post ablation.
It's on the insertion site for the
catheter
, I think, from when I had my
ablation
in January. Could it be an angioseal? Do they use angioseals to close the femoral vein after an ablation. Don't know if it's been there since the ablation, as I said I've only found it recently.

Robotic catheter ablation
Hi, I’m scheduled for robotic
catheter
ablation
with the Stereotaxis system. I’ve had PVCs (pre-ventricular contractions, an arrhythmia not mentioned much in these posts) since my early teens (for about 50 years), and a recent holter showed that 21% of my heartbeats are now irregular.

Catheter ablation for atrial tachycardia
I was diagnosed with Atrial Tachycardia four months ago and I am still considering my EP's recommendation of
catheter
ablation
. Is there any advantage in waiting for new ablation technology that's just on the horizon?

Waiting Times
I've been trying to find statistics for waiting times for procedures/surgery in Hospitals, but I've had no luck. Does anyone know where to find this information? I'm on the waiting list at my local hospital for a Cardiac Ablation procedure to remedy Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter. How long did you

Bad ectopics just before going asleep?
Had
catheter
ablation
in 2017 and since then I've seen a huge increase in ectopics that I didn't have before. I'm almost regretting it. I'm aware of the vagal link, and I almost certainly do suffer vagal ectopics.

Bisoprolol / Apixoban - lower back ache / persistent cough?
I opted for a
catheter
ablation
which I had in August. I was prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5 mg and Apixiban which I started taking in April prior to the ablation. Over the last 4-5 month I experienced lower back ache and a persistent cough.

is and how it's used to treat atrial fibrillation (AFIB). Doctors and cardiologists from the Cleveland Clinic describe the

Catheter ablation, or not?
Lastly (sorry this is so long) is there any better
catheter
ablation
technology about to come into play that would make it worth waiting for? Thanks as ever for any feedback and more rational experience than my over worried imaginings!
