Ablation recovery
So I’m day 4 post
catheter
(cryo)
ablation
and think I perhaps underestimated the recovery. Unlike many who opt for an ablation, my AF wasn’t that bad and rarely required any medication (once in the last 6 months).

Permanent AF and A flutter but rate control reasonable but permanent erratic rhythm AF is this something you can live ?
Permanent AF and A flutter- rate reasonable but rhythm not AV node ablation was on the cards but not now as rate under control, I am little concerned as I do have moderate heart failure as well. I have a pacemaker to control bradycardia and sinus pauses which is great, but the rhythm is so erratic

Life after pacemaker and av node ablation
I had a pacemaker and av node ablation for AF about 4 weeks ago as my heart rate was constantly high in spite of maximum dose of Bisopralol. I still feel very tired and can sleep for 2-3 hours during the day as well as a normal nights sleep. Is this normal ? I’d like to add that due to high heart rate

Difficulty exercising
Following an AV node ablation (which has made me feel so very much better) I am really struggling with my efforts to go for a healthy daily walk - tight chest and enough breathlessness to feel a bit uncomfortable. I have to walk really slowly and it is deterring me from doing it, which is really sad

Pacemaker to stop AF?
Did anyone here have a special pacemaker implanted to stop AF episodes quickly and did it work? I do NOT mean the normal pacemaker implanted after AV node ablation. Would be grateful for information. I just found that possibility online a few days ago and a cardiologist in my hospital said it still

Post endometrial ablation, periods, hormones
May 2019 I had endometrial ablation due to occasional bleeding after sex (also he took a uterine sample pre op and all was clear) . I have always had bad premenstrual symptoms mainly very sore breasts or back and neck acne for 3 weeks of the month. Now around the time my period should be due the premenstrual

My CRP was excellent but my ESR had doubled. I have been on K2 now for 6 weeks and this is he first blood work after taking that. I

Chronic pain, no diagnosis
I have suffered pelvic pain for ten years, I have had internals, pelvic exams, ultrasound scans, MRI, colposcopy and laparoscopy. All yielded nothing. I was told if the abnormal bleeding stopped I would not have the pain so they carried out endometrial ablation. That was 6 years ago. The pain never stopped

Watchman closure Device
Hi all. A question i need to ask is in relation to the Watchman. I have not been able to find any comments by anyone who has has had this procedure in conjunction with cardiac ablation. This is an approved procedure in countries other than Australia where it is currently on trial. How is the trial in

Catheter ablation: NHS vs private?
Is it significantly safer to have a
catheter
ablation
in an NHS hospital rather than a private one? I am fortunate to have health insurance through my work so I have the option to go private if it speeds things up.

Advice on Afib after Catheter Ablation
I am new here Im 57 Male and i have had paroxysmal Afib for about 2 years. My episodes consist of a heart rate in the 150 to 100 usually all over the place for about 6 hours then i convert back to sinus rhythm. unfortunately when i would convert i would have long pauses, the longest one was 7 seconds
