neck pain with clicking and popping when I move
I'm to have
cataract
surgery
on May 7th and was hoping this would be cleared up by then. I haven't seen a doctor because like most sore muscles they usually get better on their own now I'm thinking maybe I do need to see one. Any advice.

Tapering with PMR, Osteoporosis, Gall Bladder (new) and upcoming Cataract Surgery (second eye)
I was going to follow DLs 5 week taper plan, but think I should stay where I am, maybe even go up by 5 mg. until after second
cataract
surgery
this Thursday. I could deal with the back pain were it not for the front pain and gall bladder nausea.

I'd be grateful to hear how you all manage after
cataract
surgery
. Moorfields staff are wonderful, but your lived experience will be so much more relevant to me. Thanks in advance, Lindy X

buprenorphine sweating
I have had to increase dosage a bit to compensate for taking steroid eye drops post
cataract
surgery
(about ten more days before I can stop them). Dose has gone from .4mg to .5 and occasionally .67 when RLS breaks through.

ER visit vomiting diarrhea severe dehydration, increase pred?
The far vision is just not crisp, somewhat blurry, like before
cataract
surgery
. Talking to my Opthomologist about that. ER ordered a holster monitor and gastric tests. My question is should I increase pred? I’m still stuck at 9mg. Still feeling tired and wobbly.

Frequent Eye Prescription Changes and Cataract Surgery
Hi all, I am a GCA patient since AUG 22. I started on 60 MG Prednisone and have tapered to 5.5 mg since then using DSNS. I have had vision problems almost from the start -- blurry vision mostly, but now I have significant cataracts -- AND I've had to change my prescription 4 times since AUG 22. My

Cataract surgery with AMD
Am having
cataract
surgery
on 23rd October in right eye first. I am short sighted and have agreed to have sight corrected at same time. I am now worried about wisdom of this as think it will highlight distortion in vision and will have to have reading glasses for the first time in my life.

GCA symptoms
Developed GCA after
cataract
surgery
within 4 days. Finally recognized by great Rheumatologist. I'm being treated with 8mls. liquid prednisolone twice a day. So far so good. Dr. recommended slow taper 1mls per week. Will start tomorrow. I hope I can keep to new schedule.

Possible new treatments for PMR and GCA?
GCA seriously affected my right eye- which remains with better , albeit poor sight- even after
cataract
surgery
. The core problem is damage to the optic nerve which seems- or seemed- impossible to remedy.

Anyone opted for private Cataract surgery?
Have just had a routine eye test and been told I need
cataract
surgery
. I thought I needed new glasses but it turns out it's cataracts! Anyway my optician has referred me on the NHS via my GP but I'm wondering about going private as I have no idea how long I will have to wait for NHS treatment.
