Cataract surgery

Has anyone had iridotomy and then cataract surgery for narrow angles? Also I have read it's possible to still have a closed angle attack and is there anyone this happened to.

Been see consultant said need cataracts removed already had iridotomy has pressures still too high. Anyone else had it done and did it lower pressures

I had cataract surgery 8 yrs ago. I’m fine. Your eyes do become even drier after for a few weeks but then settle down. I can definitely see better

A recent private ophthalmologist visit revealed that cataract surgery could improve my sight, and suspected glaucoma, although my eye pressure was within normal limits (18 and 16). I was prescribed Monopost eye drops indefinitely and underwent successful cataract surgery.

He said I need cataract surgery and canaloplasty. Anyone else had this done and what was outcome with pressures etc thanks

Cataract surgery lens choices what's best long or near? I can see very well 6/6 vision but need some advice please. What will my eyesight be like close up if choose long lens

I need this for eye pressures iridotomy didn't get them down enough and have mild cataracts. I need to know if most nhs surgeons are good at narrow angles. I read it's harder to operate on these eyes, and I am hoping find best nhs surgeon I can. If I could go private there's some but too expensive.

Is it ok to use a heated mask after cataract surgery? I'm getting on for two months post op. and the ops have successfully lowered my pressures and I'm currently off drops. Still have dry eye, hence the need for heated mask.

Today, I had cataract surgery. I need to just stay still and do nothing. I am not good at resting. Any recommendations for books or whatever to help with aloneness/loneliness? I need to learn to just live with it.

consultant put my name on the waiting list for left cataract removal at the beginning of May. I check (every day, sadly) on my NHS app, hoping to see an update. The average waiting time is apparently 11 weeks.

It has been suggested I have cataract surgery and an I-Stent fitted at the same time. Does anyone have experience of this procedure please?

It's a 1/1000 side effect apparently and I've only just put the 2 together probably because just been referred for cataract surgery. What have people done to alleviate it,?

I have a cataract in my right eye (the left eye was fixed as good as new 2019.) and I want to get the right eye done. I know that driving at night is getting difficult with the cataract. Any advice for this kind of surgery? Thank you!! Alicia

The injection was for the purpose of prep for cataract surgery. I was told by my retina specialist that my eye from a previous detachment surgery was stable. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
