All Information and suggestions welcome
Hello guys, I am new to this all and I am trying not to get discouraged to say the least. I am a married mother of six, and I am only 35 years old. I just recently got this diagnosis after seeing my GP about many bouts of fatigue and joint pain. We were looking to rule out Lupus, and confirm a diagnosis

Learned LDL Cholesterol is Elevated to 151 (USA) or 1.7 in Europe & Prescribed Statin Drug Crestor 5mg!
First of all, I have not picked up my overall blood work papers from the doctor yet (will tomorrow), but was surprised she called me in a statin prescription before I saw the paperwork. I've been on depression meds for 2 decades and just am changing from Pristiq to Trintelix, so if I decide to take

Is it PMR?
I've recently been diagnosed but cannot take steroids due to having being hospitalised with pneumonia with complications 6 months ago - I've been told I could end up back in hospital if I take steroids. I started taking high strength turmeric capsules and fish oil a few weeks ago. After a few days I

Breathless and difficult digestion. Other autoimmune?
Hi everyone. I wonder what advice you might have for a guy wrestling with Hashimoto's. My main symptoms are fatigue, exertion to breath, bloating, sometimes it can be tiring to stand but I don't know if this is more to do with being bloated and breathless. finally, although it seldom quells my appetite

New to the group
Hi. I am 59 years old and I was diagnosed with PMR in February by my primary care physician after a year of pain and many doctors. I have the added complication of having a bleeding disorder, so no NSAIDS, or supplements like turmeric or fish oil. I chose to not go on Prednisone at the time I was diagnosed

A post I’ve been hesitant to write.... but here goes.
Here lately I’ve really been evaluating my quality of life and realize I am not at all living to the degree I want. In fact, I am far from it. Even tho I’ve been proud of being med free for 2 years (the fog from trying so many medications just made it worse than the disease) I haven’t at all been happy

Ablation - Second Procedure
Greetings All, I had my second Ablation on Tuesday, April 30 in NYC. Home now and feeling tired, sore and a little beaten up. Doctor thinks it all went well and rest and time will tell. I was much stronger and more prepared mentally and physically this time. Please if anyone is hesitating about the procedure

B12 deficient?
Hello - I've been here before asking for advice and hopefully someone can help. I'm 44 (as of last week) and have Hashimotos disease. I'm currently on 50mcg Levothyroxine and have been on this starter dose since January. My GP won't increase it despite my showing symptoms of being undermedicated. I

Trouble sleeping
Hi all Firstly apologies as I'm sure this has been covered before but can anybody recommend a non prescription remedy to help me sleep? My GP wont prescribe any as he said that they all contain opiates and also advised me to avoid herbal remedies. He said for me to spray lavender oil on myself and pillow

Male, 23, 5’10, 165 lbs, White Hello, My health has felt like it’s been in the crapper for way too long. When I was 12-13 I was diagnosed with mild GERD (acid reflux). Right around this time I also started developing a bit of general anxiety, but again wasn't debilitating. And then, starting around
