Hers is minimally invasive follicular
carcinoma
, but with a strong suspicion of lymphovascular invasion. So we have been offered a total thyroidectomy followed by Radioactive iodine treatment. Just concerned about radioacitve iodine.

Smit et al studied 25 patients with a history of differentiated thyroid
carcinoma
with more than 10 yr of TSH suppressive therapy with L-T4. Medication was titrated in a single-blinded fashion to establish continuation of TSH suppression (low-TSH group) or euthyroidism (euthyroid group).

However, I also had a lesion on my cheek that had been growing rapidly since February, and when I managd to arrange for that to be checked out ( an anxiety provoking non user friendly process) it seems that it’s likely to be a potentially metastatic squamous cell

Advice needed
However in need a bit of chat as I’ve just been referred to dermatology because of suspected Basal Cell
Carcinoma
on my face. The treatment I’ve had from my GP hasn’t worked. Can this be scleroderma related and has anyone else experienced it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

How do I know
I was diagnosed with stage IIIb lobular
carcinoma
in April of 2011. I had health insurance under the expanded Medicaid (thanks to the ACA) after 7 years of no coverage thanks to my pre-existing condition (thyroid cancer in 1999).

Recovering from a lobectomy
I was now classified as Stage 2 B adeno
carcinoma
and because of the size of the tumor preventative chemo should be taken. I might add that the surgical pain itself was not that bad and most of the pain had subsided by week three.

Positive margins
At 38 I was diagnosed with stage 1 Grade 2 clear cell renal cell
carcinoma
. I had a partial nephrectomy but my margins returned as positive. I have been getting scans every 3-6 months to catch it when it returns but now insurance is now fighting my scans.

Kidney, bypass and transplant!
About 2 years ago they found s 2.5 cm renal cell
carcinoma
in left kidney. Earlier in this year (2019) they determined that the RCC grew to 3.5 and were ready to do “something” to remove it. Before surgery, however, I had a heart catherization.

Low Blood Counts 6 Months after Chemo for Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma
I finished chemo 6 months ago, but my hematocrit and hemoglobin levels are still low. I saw my onc on Tuesday and he said they should have been back to normal by now. Does anyone know why these levels are still low? What should I do about these low levels?
