Low Blood Counts 6 Months after Chemo for Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma

I finished chemo 6 months ago, but my hematocrit and hemoglobin levels are still low. I saw my onc on Tuesday and he said they should have been back to normal by now. Does anyone know why these levels are still low? What should I do about these low levels?

If you can find a Chinese doctor for acupuncture and Chinese herbs they may be able to help. My issue was with white blood cell counts and they managed to elevate the levels with both the above. Good luck 🌹

Not very helpful comment from your doctor. I don’t know what causes it but I have low hémoglobin and have a blood transfusion every few months. N x
