Hiccups update.
A little while ago I posted seeking advice on my having developed hiccups after upping my dose of B1 to 2ml jabs twice a week. The hiccups morphed into violent convulsions after a while. As I pointed out, the traditional treatment for hiccups is incompatible with Levadopa. The less effective alternates

Overwhelming thoughts of death/dying
Hello, I really need some good reassurance. Today is the new year and since yesterday, I've had a feeling that I am going to die soon. I have NO reason to believe this health wise, but I've had multiple attacks about it today and I've cried a few times too. I have a 3 year old little boy I'm terrified

new on Flecainide
My afib started 11 years ago with one episode and then went silent for nearly six years . So for the first six years I was on low dose diltiazem and one standard aspirin. for the last four years I was put on Multaq and Eliquis. Multaq kept me in NSR for about a year and then progressively became ineffective

Nees help
i’m a 43-year-old guy who’s been diagnosed with Parkinson’s for five years. The meds for Parkinson sort of help. I’ve tried lots and lots of things, but the thing that made me feel the very best was B12. I think I have pernicious, anemia and Parkinson’s. I also have a very low B2 levels. If I don’t

liver biopsy- what does it mean.
Oncologist doctor ordered the biopsy last year but never really explained it. He only said that the cancer was caused by the prostate cancer. Which was a good sign. Immunohistochemical stains demonstrate tumor cells are positive for NKX3.1, PSA, TTF-1 and focally for CK20, while negative for CK7

Flying whilst having an episode of AF
Morning This is my first post on this forum but I have found it really resssuring. I just wondered whether people had been on a flight whilst having an episode of AF? I am paroxysmal at the moment but have found that my episodes are lasting at least 2 days and then only getting 1 day respite before

Horrible way to start 2024
😞I was picking up something from the floor and as I turned around to put it back down, I felt a weird, constricted (knot) feeling in my upper tummy and chest. It felt strange in my throat too. I placed my fingers on the carotid artery and this is what I felt: beat, beat, beat, two quick beats, then

Acetylcysteine
I have recently been prescribed oral acetylcysteine as a mucolytic. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am unsure how having a greater volume of mucus to cough up will help me, and the drug information leaflet says it should not be used with bronchial asthma as it can cause bronchospasms

Best UK substitue for US Synthroid
Hi, I lived in the US for over 20 years and was prescribed Synthroid for underactive Thyroid. I found that the generic levothyroxine brand was not effective. I have moved back to the UK and would like to find a brand that is as close to Synthroid as possible. Would appreciate any recomendations.
