A little while ago I posted seeking advice on my having developed hiccups after upping my dose of B1 to 2ml jabs twice a week. The hiccups morphed into violent convulsions after a while. As I pointed out, the traditional treatment for hiccups is incompatible with Levadopa. The less effective alternates didn't work for me, so I felt somewhat bereft of ideas.
Fast forward a couple of anxious weeks, to last Monday, and hallelujah, the convulsions ceased. As a parting shot, they left me with a gastro problem, but I've got a handle on that.
So, I reckon it took a month for my system to flush the B1. Now I'm hiccup/convulsion free, but ALL of my Parkinson's symptoms have, like lifelong debts, re-appeared. No problem, I'll put up with them for another two weeks to be absolutely sure, then I'll restart the B1on 1ml shots twice a week.
My conclusion thus far is that the B1 works big-time (for me). After taking it initially, I felt wonderful after just three days. I increased the dose and ooops, no, that's too much. I ceased the B1 and my Parkinson's symptoms reappeared. I'm confident when I restart on 1 ml jabs, I'll be fine again. Not perfect, but 70% better as Daphne predicted.
The issue then will be, being greedy, the remaining 30%. Do I try 1.5ml doses? Well, I've got a few weeks to ponder on that.
Many of you responded with suggestions and ideas to my initial post. I want to thank you all for your time and consideration. It really helps to know one is not alone, and that help is out there.
Cheers,
Dan.😀
