Cimzia update
Evening everyone. Well, I'm due for my 2nd dose of cimzia tomorrow... The 1st was ok - didn't hurt at all but I did feel sick and light-headed and 'strange' the next day, as I said in my last blog. That lasted for 2 or 3 days and then I felt really well. The pain in my right hand almost disappeared

Feeling weird
I took my first loading dose of Cimzia last night. The injections didn't bother me - an old hand at it now - but I do feel sort of weird. I can't explain it. I was told I'd feel really nauseous and I do sort of but it's more that I'm feeling really light-headed and just can't be bothered to do much

CIMZIA!!!
Hi All Had my first of 3 loading dose this afternoon. I did both injections in my tummy - my preferred area and they did not hurt or sting. Got a slight headache soon after and I've been a sleep all afternoon. Just had dinner and I am heading back to bed. I was aprehensive at the start, but

Hi! I've developed an itchy rash / dermatitis while taking Leflunomide and Cimzia (Certolizumab-Pegol) anti-tnf in combination for 10 mths.
Hi, The dermatitis developed on my legs, then a rash on my arms and stomach after about 7 months. Stopped Cimzia to see if it clears - been on Leflunomide for 6 years, no problems. Rash very slowly clearing. Will have to re-try Cimzia to see if it reappears I guess! Have told GP and RA Consultant. Anyone

Bad day - Just tired of fighting
Hi all, Sorry I've not been about for a few days. We changed our broadband from BT to Sky and BT cut the line on Friday when they should have left it going until today! I'm feeling really out of sorts at the moment. The normal really positive me seems to have disappeared and left a tearful wreck

Newbie to the site but old hand at dealing with RA. This is my story...
Hi everybody. I thought I'd introduce myself. I am 48 years old and have had RA since 1973. So, I'm afraid this is rather a long post so forgive me but I hope it will help some of you dealing with RA. Originally diagnosed with Still's, my parents were told there was every likelihood I would

Help needed? Could I be suffering from something other than RA?
I have been on Cimzia since November 2011, and the first few months were wonderful - just what they told me - I would feel fantstic! I know I have been under alot of stress since then (job, etc) but I am now beginning to feel like I was before I was on Anti-TNF. My Rhuemy nurse thinks my body could be

Infections Fed Up
I am feeling a bit fed up, I am on cimzia and it has really helped but because it makes you prone to infections I have had to have antibiotics and steroids and each time I have had to stop the injections, I have had a sinus infection this time and a sore throat as well . I went to the Drs as you are

Progress!
Hi everyone Haven't written anything for a few weeks but have been reading all your blogs which have kept me going. Loving the warmer weather which is perfect for me as it's warm but not too hot. My skin is not very sun compatible as I'm very fair anyway which combined with the effects of Methotrexate
