should you take supplements at the same time as the Pred dose?
I recently read not to take
calcium
supplements at the same time as my morning pred dose, are there any other wisdoms about taking Vit D, potassium etc at the same time as pred ? or is it better to not take anything else at the same time? thanks

I have been taking
calcium
and vitamin D all along but maybe I need to increase the amount I am taking, or switch to a particular brand?? Here in Texas we are expecting temperatures to be in the high eighties tomorrow which will be a cool front after weeks of 100 plus!

Heart-healthy foods.
One theory is that the
calcium
in milk can drive total
calcium
intake to a level that inhibits hormonal vitamin D creation (cacitriol from calcidiol). Another is that it is the IGF-I (insulin-like growth factor 1), which tends to be elevated in PCa.

I’ve never had my
calcium
tested (at least not in the recent set of bloods) so I’m confused as to how this could be the diagnosis. Thank you again all.

Supplements
I was prepared to take the
Calcium
and Vit D supplement offered but even this has been a deception. I found out that
Calcium
carbonate is the cheapest form, is a rock and not very absorbable, plus the formula has aspartame and sucrose.

How I keep my tinnitus at a manageable baseline
(
calcium
carbonate (chalk)) (synthetic vitamins, toothpaste, white flour, municipal water, bottled water) are calcifying agents which means they accumulate deposits in joints and tissues including the pineal gland which is located in the center of the brain and is responsible for producing and secreting

My preference being to continue to take the
Calcium
/Vit D I am taking, doing weight exercises, walking, good diet, no smoking or alcohol. Has anyone had to make this decision, what did you decide, and do you have any advice? Thank you in advance for any responses. Julian

I'm still waiting for the others to come back like ferritin, B12, folate, liver function, CRP, thyroid function, vit d,
calcium
, lipids and U&E's. I have been feeling a bit rubbish but the pred I think has been keeping me functioning.

So far I've taken Losinipril, Perindropil, Propranolol, then moved to another type Doxazosin, a
calcium
channel blocker All of them have aggravated restless legs, to such an extent that I haven't slept for weeks, other than dropping off with exhaustion for a few minutes.

Constipation, Osteopaenia and Calcium
Hi, I have had osteopaenia for years, currently taking
Calcium
, magnesuim bisglycinate, D3, Vit K2 (natto), Boron. I also suffer from chronic constipation and wonder if the
calcium
I am taking as well as that in my diet (cheeses) is aggravating the problem.
