Pain Management
Hi All, My husband's pain seems to be out of control. He says he hurts everywhere all the time, but mostly his whole right side, from his shoulder, arm, wrist all the way to his toes. He uses magnesium and heat, a tens machine as well as massage, CBD and acupuncture. But nothing really helps or lasts

Iron & Magnesium
Would appreciate guidance about how and when to take iron and magnesium supplements. I take Gabapentin every night and want to ensure that I donāt do anything to interfere with its effectiveness. Any suggestions about optimal dosages for the iron and magnesium would also be helpful. Thank you.

High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) - Hypothyroidism
Hi everyone, Does anyone have experience with being hypo having high blood pressure. I am a 45 year old male - I am in pretty good shape. Exercise everyday and eat pretty healthy. I finally got my thyroid within range. I kinda neglected (only looked at tsh) it for the last couple of years.

Here We Go Again?
As I write this my heart feels heavy accompanied by a dull ache and a small 'buzz' every so often. If it follows its normal progression it will start to feel squeezed during the next 24 hours & as though it has over done it at the gym and now feeling sore. This combination has seen me in A&E over 5

Hi there, I'm touched by how hard some of you are struggling with osteoporosis and it's a little scary to realize I may be facing such problems in the future. At present, I have osteopenia and take calcium pills and Vit. D. I was diagnosed recently, after taking calcium for many years, so that's concerning

Osteoporosis help naturally, no meds!
I was diagnosed this last June and would love input from others as I refused the medication Fosamax but decided to improve my situation naturally through healthy eating, exercises and supplements. Changed from Calcium carbonate to citrate, added K2 for better calcium absorption. Seeing a physical therapist

Hi I'm a 62 year old who has had mild to moderate RLS for about 3 decades. It took me some time to realize that it was restless leg syndrome that was causing my insomnia. After just putting up with it for years I finally set about researching the condition and trying to find some solutions. I have tried

Looking for Ideas please
Hi there, I have had RLS since my early 20s and am now 56. My symptoms have got worse over the years and I have been managing them with stretching, holding legs in the air, kicking legs out, compressing blood supply to offending leg for short periods, plus various supplements, mainly magnesium. Symptoms

Advice on tablets if liquid thyroxine is still unavailable.
Hi all Having seen my GP today to discuss the lack of liquid thyroxine, she tells me that they cannot just discontinue providing it on the NHS as there are several patients that can't take thyroxine in any other form. It seems it is all cost related and pharmacies don't want to order it and be out

A vagal manoeuvre to tryā¦
Hello All, I wanted to share with you something that worked for me a couple of weeks ago for my paroxysmal Afib. We had friends over and I took a risk, of not only a very spicy Indian takeaway meal, but it arrived very late and I went to bed just over two hours after eating it š³ so a double risky combination
