Pramipexole / Pregabalin
After many years on Pramipexole and having reached the max dose (6 x 0.88mg), I suffered augmentation and visited my GP. The GP i saw was very sympathetic and started me on Pregablin whilst I reduced the dose of Pramipexole.. I managed okay(ish) until I got to 3 x 75mg of Pregabalin and 2 x .088mg

has anyone heard of Brillia and S100B protein?
I was reading about this in the ADHD community. Sounds interesting. I think there is some crossover with ADHD and Parkinson’s symptoms https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S100B https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33052436/ “The exact etiology of Parkinson's disease (PD) remains obscure, lacking effective diagnostic

Vitamin C
I've just been reading about Liposomal Vitamin C and wondered if anyone is taking this as it seems to be a good choice for people who are sensitive to ascorbic acid or calcium ascorbate.

GP Visit Update
Hi - I saw my GP yesterday and he did listen I guess! My main points were need for optimal levels of vitamins and minerals; PPIs affecting absorption; High T4 and low T3 signalling poor conversion. He said I could increase VitD3 to 2000iu and that a Vit B complex would be a good idea - I'm also adding

statins
morning everyone, Recent blood tests show I have raised cholesterol and triglyceride serum levels. After discussion with the gp I agreed to give Atoravastatin a go. I am already on Xarelto, Nebivolol, Candesarten and gave verapamil as a pip (pharmacist said still ok to take it as a pip, contraindication

Abnormally high thyroid levels
Hi all, I 'd like some advice with these abnormally high test results. For the first time ever, my free T4 is out of range- too high-, and so is my Vit D. My TSH is also low, but I've had that before. I have Hashimotos and am on Levothyroxine 200mcg. My GP wants to reduce my Levo to alternating days

Update - strontium citrate
hi I just had a endo lab appt and had 4 blood tubes drawn for secondary causes. I guess it’s a start. I now take strontium citrate and 45 mg of K2 mk4 as my two main lines of defense. I read some research in Australia that said to take the strontium citrate by opening the capsule and mixing it into

Hypothyroidism Confusing test results. Can anyone help please. Are they connected.
Hi Im hoping someone can help. The information you gave last time was very helpful but I still haven't recieved any help from the doctors as they didn't believe the test result were right. They said something was going wrong at the lab but kept sending me back. So I recently paid to get a private test

ANRC Plus instead of B complex?
The below is my own work which I am simply sharing. I have no other agentia other than to invite comments and zero expectations. I make no claim to legitimacy or accuracy. I have less than zero medical training. It makes sense to me that any supplement should be checked to insure that an ingredient

RA pain & inflammation causing terrible anxiety: pacing, insomnia
Experiencing terrible anxiety & insomnia when RA pain flares up- but gp & rheum won’t give sedatives. They act like I’m an addict; so I take a few glasses of wine & I don’t even like liquor. Am in the USA. These drs have no problem giving expensive, “big gun” RA meds & high dose prednisone - but

Medication Management
Hi folks, Really interested in opinions here - especially from the more experienced and time-served 'warriors'. Diagnosed 2 years ago after about 18 months of tests to establish why I had been experiencing arm stiffness, loss of some finger dexterity and foot/toe curling - all on my right hand side.

Pregabalin dose increase?
Hi, I am on Pregabalin 150 mg and still struggle with RLS, PLMD and twitching toes plus grinding teeth. Fortunately I have managed to get a super job and starting work tomorrow. Yippee 😁 Unfortunately, I will be starting work @ 7.00 a m. and it's full time. In the UK for some reason it's super hard

How much is too much D3
Any views on taking 10,000 iu d3 daily? There’s evidence that it’s ‘safe and well tolerated’ I went to see my bone consultant today, he wasn’t impressed by me taking this amount but my calcium level is good and my dexa results have gone from -2.6 to -2.1 in 2 years I also take k2 and magnesium ,
