Looking for peer reviewed studies about vitamins and Thyroid
There's a lot of talk on this forum about the importance of Vitamin B, Ferritin, Selenium and others in combating thyroid disease. Before I ask my Endo to test for the levels of vitamins in my blood, I'd like to be able to substantiate these claims with some research. He typically tests for TSH, T3,

AF and asthma
Does anyone have experience of Bisoprolol impacting on asthma, suggestions for other suitable medication would be good, however not calcium channel blockers which I've tried and were disastrous

Ferritin and hair loss
Hi, Ferritin is 42 ug/l which is in the normal range. However, my hair has been falling out and I have read that this can happen if your ferritin falls below 50ug/l. My iron however seems the high end of normal. I will post all of my latest iron results below. Is it worth me supplementing as everything

Coffee & caffeine: can the benefits of coffee be replicated without coffee?
Coffee is said to increase cortisol. Caffeine is said to increase anxiety. I need to reduce both but I drink coffee daily for its neuro protective benefits. Can I finally say goodbye to coffee and replicate these benefits via a different means? I’m revisiting this subject because I’m really tired

Making rls manageable, a continuing story
I have had quite bad rls for the last two years and over time, very little sleep. However I have tried to persevere without drugs, although my GP has prescribed low dose codeine (15mg) which helped at first but I now try not to take. My rls is currently much better. It hasn’t gone away but it’s sort

ICU intensive care/Covid and Osteoporosis
Hello, this is a bit of a left field one, and it has come as a complete shock, but on top of all my other post-covid pneumonitis debilitations I have now been diagnosed with osteoporosis. hi, I’ve read a lot of posts here and am finding them extremely reassuring , I haven’t found this on any fb so far. I’ll try and give a condensed story of myself. W.H.O. Osteoporosis treatment levels graph?
Hi folks, I'm querying something my GP told me during a telephone appointment about my T scores. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2009 and treated with Strontium Ranelate until they were taken away from me in 2016 because of heart attack risks, length of time I'd been on them. But nothing was prescribed

Yoghurt and thyroxine/NDT
I currently take 75mcg thyroxine first thing along with half grain of NDT and then another half grain at midday. Changed from T4/T3 a couple of months ago. My last bloods were good with T4 at 21 (range 12-22) and T3 at 5.8 (3.5-6.1), And for the week prior to the tests, I felt better than I had
