Osteoperosis from cancer treatments. HELP!!!!
Has anyone developed severe osteoperosis from cancer treatment? I am afraid of the medication being recommended to me. PROLIA. Has anyone in cancer treatment been on this drug.? I already don't feel great. I certainly don't want to feel worse. Not sure how to help my bones. Looking into calcium

No more Calcium supplements
Having done quite a bit of research on the effectiveness of calcium supplements in improving bone health, I discovered that the thinking around this is changing. The John Hopkins medical Centre and ROS both advise that calcium is always better absorbed from natural food sources rather than supplements

Fulphila
My husband had to get a shot this morning of Fulphila he had his first round of chemo yesterday the nurse said it’s for bone marrow and white blood cells. Have any of you had the injection, if so did you have any reactions? Last year my husband had an IV infusion of calcium it begins with the letter

Time to Cut Glycine from my Stack? (this would include GlyNAC)
So I was perusing the Rhyothemis blog http://rhyobrain.blogspot.com and stumbled across something concerning "Hcy neurological harm depends on glycine levels" https://rhyobrain.blogspot.com/2021/05/homocysteine-cbs-autoimmunity-very.html which led me to this: The Controversial Role of Homocysteine in

Heartburn
Hi, I hope someone can advise please? I take 100mcg eltroxin, hypothyroid following RAI for Hyper/Graves. I've been struggling with heartburn for a while now. Was originally put on pantoprazole by g.p. then slowly weaned myself off as I was concerned about being on it for years, doctors don't seem concerned

Do I have Hashimoto?
Hello. I’ve just joined the group and would be really grateful for some guidance. I was put on levothroxine about 10 years ago when struggling to conceive. TSH was around 4.5ish I recall. We never did conceive sadly - despite many rounds of IVF and other complications, endometriosis, high natural killer

NATURAL REMEDIES FOR ANXIETY
NATURAL REMEDIES FOR ANXIETY I was waking up with terrible thoughts of dread with muscles so stiff I couldn't roll over, much less get out of bed. It was like waking up in Hell every morning! I came across a thread where people were having such good results with 5-HTP and saying it was better than Prozac

Please Advice
Because of spine injury that occurred 35 years ago, my Dexa Scan indicates that (the spine) L2 is 3.2, L3 is 3.1, L4 is 3.6. My Endocrinologist has prescribed Prolia and am reminded to take this drug each time I visit him. I have hesitated taking this for many years and recently started an exercise

Hi everyone, After a few comments about baking gluten free bread in our current bread poll. I'd like to encourage others as its easier to make gluten free bread using a food processor to whiz everything up compared to baking bread with by hand where you have to knead it thoroughly got get the air

What I have learned from 1 year with Early Onset PD - "Glass Half Full"
I decided to keep a journal of my journey - it has been quite a year but I have learned a lot. some of which maybe relevant for new and older PD people. I am not a doctor and this is not a medical opinion but there is lots available to make a stand against PD https://fightparkinsonsdisease.files.wordpress.com
