PGAD relief tips
Hi all, I am reaching out to see amy tips you may have for relief? Currently lasts 24 hours a day, worst is at night but never goes away. Its very distressing and I cried again today as am just so exhausted. Have seen a urogynacologist and am now trialling HRT patches (hysterectomy in 2018) plus estrogen

Very happy to hit 2 year mark from last AFIB incident. I was 48 when I had my first episode which terrified me, and the second episode was 9 months later. Both resolved on their own. I started working on lifestyle changes from the first incident. I focused on dropping milk from my diet and keeping

Blood pressure meds and RL
I have been put onto blood pressure medication, as my BP is 'dangerously' high. So far I've taken Losinipril, Perindropil, Propranolol, then moved to another type Doxazosin, a calcium channel blocker All of them have aggravated restless legs, to such an extent that I haven't slept for weeks, other than

Getting adequate bone minerals without milk or yogurt
I'm 66 and have osteopenia. I took calcium and Vitamin D for many years because I've always hated milk and yogurt. I have some digestive problems now and can't take calcium. I try to eat green veggies, and I eat cheese, but I worry about my bones. I tried calcium hydroxyapatite but got constipated.

Anxiety again
Well it’s been a hard two weeks. My GAD has flared again. I’ve been climbing the walls again. I think the past year and a half has caught up with me. I’ve been pushing my limits for a long time. With my operation and recovery, going back to work too early, my sister ‘s stroke and running back and

High diastolic blood p Niraparib
Hi, Blood pressure going up again on Niraparib, but it does just seem to be the bottom number, the diastolic. Has anybody got any success stories of sorting this bit with meds? Had bad reaction to calcium channel blocker. Currently taking Candesartan, though wanting to increase dose but not been on

Heart-healthy foods.
New study [1]. It's well-known that men with PCa have a higher risk for cardiovascular disease. Even before ADT. Mark Moyad coined the phrase "heart-healthy is prostate healthy" and I think he is correct. The American "food pyramid" is a disaster imo, with grains at the bottom & fats at the

Latest results and changes to regime.
since my last post: Dropped my levo from 225 to 100. This by way of looking to reset the failures of the past 3 and half years. And at my last test my TSH was too low to register whilst my T4 was 22 so well above range. T3 not recorded. I have also reduced/monitored carb intake more so than previously

PLMD and withdrawal
Three weeks ago I stopped (after tapering slowly) gabapentin. I have also been reducing morphine sulphate from 8mg by .01mL every 5 days for the last three weeks. PLMD off the charts. I take 2mg lunesta every 3 nights -- and not more -- in the hopes of not getting addicted. Those nights are better

Baclofen tablets- experiences of.
I’ve recently had a really bad bout of neck spasm, following a General anaesthetic for a bladder distension for interstitial cystitis. I think the anaesthetist was a bit rough with my head extension! ( I’ve had 3 neck fusions, the last was in 2009. Am fused from C3-T3 posteriorly and from C3-C7 anteriorly

Doctor follow up
Quick recap: in hospital with pneumonia and Pred increased to 10mg (from 4.5mg). Saw GP on discharge and was prescribed 10mg for 4 weeks. He also cancelled my repeat prescription so he said to go back in 4 weeks. So, yesterday I saw another GP to renew my repeat prescription. Immediately I was asked

iron lab results 10 weeks post iron infusion
I have had four iron infusions in the last 2 years. 10 weeks ago I received Injectafer 1000 mg with so-so results. I had seen a hematologist at my neurologist/Sleep specialist’s urging out of his concern for my out of whack lab numbers. The hematologist was not concerned. I gave my sleep, specialist
