Help with test results please
Hi I'm just after some help and advice on my test results as I'm clueless about this and because I am it's making me worry more. The bits that came back as high and they are retesting are Alanine aminotransferase which was 139 In June then 46 in September Gamma glutamyl transferase which is 108 in September

Low Calcium and B12
I am hypothyroid (3 years and adequately replaced on levo 125mcg). I have just got my latest blood test results back and although the GP hasn't contacted me I've looked at the results and think that treatment is required. I'm not sure if low calcium and low B12 are related but if I can understand

The Liver Function Test (LFT) If you've just undertaken your very first LFT, this brief note may help you to understand it a little better..
This test usually consists of up to six separate elements – the results of which will assist in diagnosis. However, the term "liver function test" is misleading, because it can measure possible hepatocellular damage (temporary or permanent), rather than liver function. The LFT should consist of all

I have a goitre but GP says I don't... Please help with understanding my blood test results...
Hello all :) I have been lurking on this forum, and you ladies {&gentlemen?} seem very knowledgable & supportive. I am glad I found it! I was also near the fallout zone when Chernobyl happened so maybe that caused my goitre? I am paranoid about cancer, my friend died from leukaemia when he was 12 ..

That my GP surgery is rubbish. They received my results on 13th May. I phoned for them today and they have an action note - Make appointment to see doctor. Have I received a call? Have I heck. Anyway, I had the blood test at 8.30am after not taking my 125 mcg levo for 2 nights. Results as follows

I need help with my blood test results
Hi, I've been suffering from low testosterone since 20. I'm 33 now and I had a lot tested by the endocrinologist. My testosterone came back within normal limits but it was in the lower range. I don't know how to interpret my estrodial levels because there is no range. I'm trying to get a six pack and

6 years ago I came down with a mystery illness. So far no doctors had been able to give me a diagnosis, could it be thyroid? More details..
I was just wondering whether if I posted a fairly detailed history of my case, symptoms and test results would you be able to offer any ideas about whether it might be thyroid or thyroid related? Or just any ideas at all really? (I was recommended to put this on here from someone within a Lupus group

Prickly Heat
The local doctor told me that the best thing was to have a good hot soapy wash, followed by a thorough rinse, then keep all creams and oils away from the skin for a few days and just apply some
calamine
lotion.
