*Sensitive* new arrival 👶🏻
I’d like to share some news with you, a group whom through the first 25 weeks of my pregnancy, were an amazing support ( I stepped away after that but continued to watch from afar) 🥰 Without further a do, we welcomed our little boy, Nolan Cole on 09/11/20 at 12.09 💙👶🏻. He was a whole month early

My treatments to date
Dx 1.5 years ago with Gleason 9, Mets to bladder and pelvic bone. PSA at Dx was 3.45! PCa was found during a TURP surgery. Started Lupron and Erleada. PSA has been undetectable since. Testosterone is basically zero 🙄. Recently had 37 rounds of RT to all sites, and Brachytherapy. Will be having 10 more

First shot of zoladex, got more questions
Good day to all, my father just had a laser turp procedure this monday, then yesterday he had a shot of zoladex, wondering how early might side effects come out? Another concern we have is this; we saw on youtube that the needle is supposed to snap back when the drug is applied properly, unfortunately

Birth Plan and Epidural
HI , I am a new mum to be. I am 35yrs.I'm now 35 wks pregnant and was hoping to discuss options with my midwife with regards to Epidural and birth plan. When I mentioned that I would like Epidural I felt as if the midwife tried to discourage me to ask for it at the hospital at birth. She told me that

Lower back/bum pain 1 year pp
Hi, I wondered if anyone else experienced anything similar? I have lower back/bum pain when I sit down for too long or if I’m stood for too long. I noticed it a few weeks after having my little boy but just thought it would go once I went back to work, so I’m back at work and on my feet all day and it

Urodynamics
I'm writing on behalf of my husband. Has anyone had experience of a Urodynamic and did the results give the consultant a clear next plan of action? He gets up to pee 3 or 4 times a night and sometimes in the evening and gets pressure in the bladder. Initially a TURP or green light laser op was recommended

25 year Endometriosis sufferer
Evening all, I have had endometriosis for quite a number of years, have had numerous laparoscopies and been on a few contraceptive pills. my endo completely blocked both fallopian tubes making it impossible to have children without IVF intervention. 4 cycles later I had twin boys delivered by C-section

Bladder neck contracture
I have a bladder neck contracture that makes urinating difficult I was able to insert catheters with difficulty so I was not terribly concerned about being very far from competent medical care. It is a 4 hour drive to a hospital with a urologist on call and my local very good primary care doctor told

Sensitive scan attached /made it to 25 weeks
After an onset of excruciating symptoms for a year and a misscarrige and diagnosis of endo by an endometriosis specialist I changed my diet to an all endo diet and also looked into asprin therapy for endometriosis patients.this served me well although I'd advise people to do some research themselves

*Sensitive* Early arrival!
I hope this post doesn't upset anyone & instead brings a bit of hope! I thought I would never get to be a mummy but have been very happily proved wrong. Owen arrived 3 and a half weeks early on 7th October by emergency c section. I'd been taken into hospital a week earlier as a routine midwife appointment

After the BCR and the ADT vacation – All the tests results are in – it's curtain time - what comes next – what to do next ?
A quick background review … Started out as 'I can't pee ! - a TOTAL urinary blockage. Dateline March break- 2017. Spent 4 months in and out of emergency wards with out of control UTI's, a catheter for 4 months (which I was taking care of with NO CLUE as to how to manage it) and no urologist or

Lump under c section scar
Hi, I haven’t posted on here for quite a long time! I had a small amount of endo removed in a laparoscopy in 2016 however symptoms have gradually started to show again. One of my main concerns is a lump which seems to be attached to the inside of my c section scar from 2014. It has been scanned before

Post-TURP: Catheter in for how long?
Hi All, Just had a TURP and looking very forward to having my catheter removed. Just curious what the typical amount of days after surgery is for removal, based on your experiences. Also, any advice on what to do or not do after it is removed? Thanks brothers!

*Sensitive* Birth announcement.
This time last year I woke up on my birthday feeling totally down and not wanting to celebrate at all. We were about to start meds for our final round of IVF and I really didn’t have much hope of it working. I tried to stay positive but I always found events like birthdays incredibly hard to cope with

Sad day
Today I tested positive for COVID I’m dealing with the symptoms And quarantined back at my parents home where they gave up their room with a restroom in it. The hard part, that’s killing me inside is that mi fiancé is pregnant, our baby boy is breeched and she will have to get a c section on Monday

laparoscopy and bladder endometriosis surgery
Hello all, I'm new here and see that posts about this exist but are older. I'm 50, had a laparoscopy for a cyst on ovary, removal of the fallopian tubes and when I was in surgery the surgeon saw that the cyst could not be removed without tearing at the bladder (endometriosis had penetrated the bladder
