First shot of zoladex, got more questions

Good day to all, my father just had a laser turp procedure this monday, then yesterday he had a shot of zoladex, wondering how early might side effects come out?

Another concern we have is this; we saw on youtube that the needle is supposed to snap back when the drug is applied properly, unfortunately the doctor in training just injected it like a regular injection and the needle did not snap back, he just took it out with the syringe, is it possible that no drug was injected at all if this is the case? Thanks a lot for the reply

After Zoladex...The side effects normally are felt after 2 to 3 months. As for injection, nothing can be said. You need to clarify this concern from your Dad's Doctor.

Wow so after 2 to 3 months? Thanks a lot for the info, yes we are trying to reach our urologist to clarify the needle concern

Most of the side effects from Zoladex is due to very low testosterone. Some of these side effects can be reduced by daily regular exercise such as walking long distances.

Thanks, no side effects yet, dad even noticed some mild hot flashes some few months before zoladex, sure surprised me, also not yet sure if the medication did make it under his skin

When I have a 3 monthly (10mg) injection the needle inserts a pellet in the stomach area under the skin, the medication is solid not a fluid. I assume the monthly injection works the same way.
