I have Fibro ( for many years ) Lower Back problems Discs bulging and degenerative discs I am on butrans 10 micro every hour. Pregabalin doses are up and down as I have been getting Sciatica down both legs numbness in left toes..

Bear in mind the only changes I have are amitryptiline to boost the BuTrans patches and an increase in mood stabiliser for bi polar. By the way, I read my form again, and they do annual checks. My dear chaps, you will get annual parcels.

I have to beg for naproxen, the doctors don't like giving me this, on top of the butrans buprenorphine patches 30 mg, I'm using presently, this does help the excruciating pain, in the lower back, but I'm still unable to walk properly, this is my fourth year.

Hi just wondering if anyone using Butrans 10 patches have found them really itchy lately as I was wondering if they have changed something in the plaster as have been wearing them for a long time and suddenly getting really bad red squares left on skin after taking them off making it almost impossible

Been on Butrans for 4 years for chronic back pain. Been a lifesaver but the last few weeks I can’t keep me eyes open and I feel so tired . Does anyone know if could be patch?

I’m on butrans 20 patch, pregablin500mg a day, cocodamol, ibuprofen. Now I’m being told that my pain is psychosomatic. So how am I supposed to deal with it? Why do I have it?

Prior to my surgery I was in horrendous pain and my doctors gave me butrans patches.....I started on 5mcgs and went up to 15mcgs. I have continued to use them since the surgery and I changed them weekly on a Thursday.

And have been given butrans patches 20mg and venafaxaline 75mg I have problems walking any distance, also standing and sitting for periods of time are very challenging, my issue is that when I get up from bed or out of a chair both my feet have a painful crushing sensation coming from the top of my foot

The things that currently help slightly is paracetamol taken with codine. 20mg butrans patch and putting heat pads on my back. I'm seeing my pain management dr next week inwhich he wants to do nerve blocking steroid injections in my back.

I have been given 5mg patches by gp as I wanted to take less co codamol and co drydamol. Cant take ibuprofen much as on anti coags. The patches on for 24 hrs. Dont seem to be doing much. Slight diarhoea. But hip and S I pain not good. Anyone else have them. I also take 50 mg lyrica at bedtime.

Tried so many meds butrans patch were the best but gave nasty skin burns after a couple of days I one with little side effects so that I can function with children!

Even with full paracetomol, butrans patch and two sticks ,every step is agony. Am considering trying Tens machine, Any experience including negative welcomed.

I had a follow up today after a GP prescribed an extra butrans patch over the phone for me on Monday last week. That extra patch meant I was able to manage my trip to London last Thursday. I said to my usual GP today that I wasn't happy about the level of pain relief I needed.

Over the weekend I had a pain flare, but GP prescribed an extra butrans patch which kicked in to take the worst away. I managed Leeds to London and back yesterday, on the train. Absolutely wiped out, I really haven't been able to do much for a very long time, but .......son won!

However I have reacted to the first 2 , I have tried butec 5 mcg/hr by Qdem and butrans 5 mcg/hr by NAPP. She and the pharmacist are struggling to find a alternative make at such a low dose. I can't go on a higher dose as I'm coming off oxycodone tablets.

I just started the butrans patch 10 mg. I am always hot even before patch now i sweat more and am having trouble getting patch to stay on. I am having to cover w very large bandaids. Been wearing on top back shoulder. Any suggestions on better ways or better spot. Please!!

The previously drastic weight loss has slowed, and only problems with the bowels seem to be due to the Butrans patches and very seldom co codamol, which used to be sorted by yummy lactulose. Used to be, because the, ermm ....regularity and efficeincy of the bowels are rather textbook superb.

Hi there,got to see my gp and basically been feeling that the buprenorphine and co-codamol hasn't been working, in fact I've been feeling irritable and withdrawal feelings after 4 days on the patch.Discussed this with her and was put on 2x30mg & 2x10mg morphine sulphate twice daily and paracetamol if

Fever, pain that couldn't be touched by my stash of Co proxamol...resorted to butrans....which give me allergic reaction but did deal with pain. Am now improving but feeling battered for all that. It's a major blow as I think I was going in the right direction.
