I have Fibromyalgia and lower disc problems Suffering Sciatica in both legs

I have Fibro ( for many years ) Lower Back problems Discs bulging and degenerative discs I am on butrans 10 micro every hour. Pregabalin doses are up and down as I have been getting Sciatica down both legs numbness in left toes.. Can anyone advise on where I should go next ..do I ask to be referred to a Specialist for further treatment.. or do I just plod on with Paracetamol and ibrufin every 4 hours ....

Have you had your folic acid and B12 levels checked? Pregabalin can affect both (and Vit D), and these can add to peripheral neuropathy pain which won't help the sciatica. I'm on 450mg Pregabalin for fibro, and get folic acid, Vit D and Vit B12 on prescription because of the deficiencies caused by it.

I got a referral to a pain specialist a while ago, and no magic cure but he sorted out my meds so I feel a little better these days.
