tens machine recommendation or experience

I have prolonged experience of arthritis in both knees. Even with full paracetomol, butrans patch and two sticks ,every step is agony. Am considering trying Tens machine, Any experience including negative welcomed.

You will need a dual channel unit like this one:-

TEN's does work, I used it for a couple of years before I had a THR.

Getting used to the system and tuning it for your own requirements can be quite a task.

The wires going down to your knees can be a problem, but in the end you would get used to it.

There is quite a lot of useful info on the above Amazon page.

A rechargeable battery is a great help, if you are going to use it regularly.

Tens machines are brilliant I was using one as a guinea pig when the NHS first started using them nearly 40 years ago and I still use them but my advice is go for a multi programme one I get all mine from naturesgatetens.com.

And I have found them very helpful look at the website then phone them for advice on the right machine for you
