Best thing is a big ✔️ to continue with
BuTrans
and top up co-codamol at times of pain flares. I’m not a junkie, and get no buzz from them, but need them, please! With the recent move to crack down on pain meds I’m hoping to get a green light from GPs.

Butrans?
HI Im familiar with bupenorphine and find it to work well for pain, with no side effects of being high or weird feeling. I seen that theres a very low weekly patch of it which has me interested. (although no drs seem to be able to prescribe anything) :( anyone use it?

Pain patches
Hi ladies I saw a pain specialist yesterday and she’s prescribed me some
Butrans
patches...they’re slow release morphine and last for seven days...she’s started me on the lowest dose to see if they help...if not there are stronger ones to try Just put one on...it just looks like an Elastoplast...hope

Arthritis pain not relieved by Pred.
I have had to give in and put on a
BuTrans
patch as well as cocodamol, for pain relief. Most of my pain from PMR has gone but the Pred is not hitting the OA as I expected it would. Any advice would be so helpful, I’m on 15 mg Pred and have been for 4 weeks.

Lidocaine patches???
Really hoping that someone can give me a positive review as I’m scared my pain level will return to the highs that it was before I was prescribed
Butrans
patches. Thanks. 💖

Relapse
Hurting like mad everywhere and waiting for new
butrans
patch 10. It’s due today. Can barely cope with pain right now. Will probably lose hair - swell up and put in on weight. I guessed this was coming as I have been feeling worse.

Pain clinic fail.....😖 (long rant sorry)
I take Naproxen, Nortriptyline, Co-Codamol and
Butrans
patches. These had all been prescribed by the pain consultant's registrar over a period of 18 months. I also use crutches and a powerchair to mobilise.

Dang! I need sympathy!
I'm extra tired too, and in more pain ( whoops, overdue
BuTrans
pathches replacement) I have a horrible taste in my mouth, too. Doesn't exactly make me feel like eating. One question for advice, though.

Nefopam side effects
I’m also tapering down my
Butrans
patch as after a year and a half it’s completely changed me, and not in a good way, and causes more pain than relief. Any advice would me much appreciated, thank you.

Butec/Butrans changing to Fentanyl patches
Hi All, I’m currently on 30 mcg/hr butec patch. I’m having a lot of baseline pain so need an increase. I’m actually taking an additional 4 Sevredol tablets per day to control my pain. My gp is advising I switch to fetanyl patches. Any advice? Anybody made this change or on these patches, your input

Butrans patches
I have just been put on
Butrans
patch 5mcg as I cannot tolerate any oral pain medication - I was admitted with severe pain and tried on codeine and morphine - I was very sick and generally extremely ill. The consultant then put me on
Butrans
for long term pain relief.

It's Fill In My Pip Interim Check Day
Bear in mind the only changes I have are amitryptiline to boost the
BuTrans
patches and an increase in mood stabiliser for bi polar. By the way, I read my form again, and they do annual checks. My dear chaps, you will get annual parcels.

Excruciating lower back pain
I have to beg for naproxen, the doctors don't like giving me this, on top of the
butrans
buprenorphine patches 30 mg, I'm using presently, this does help the excruciating pain, in the lower back, but I'm still unable to walk properly, this is my fourth year.

Hi just wondering if anyone using
Butrans
10 patches have found them really itchy lately as I was wondering if they have changed something in the plaster as have been wearing them for a long time and suddenly getting really bad red squares left on skin after taking them off making it almost impossible

Somatic pain
I’m on
butrans
20 patch, pregablin500mg a day, cocodamol, ibuprofen. Now I’m being told that my pain is psychosomatic. So how am I supposed to deal with it? Why do I have it?
