Sitting is a pain đ
Does anyone experience anal/rectal discomfort when sitting on hard surfaces? I feel it comes and goes. I'm female and don't have hemorrhoids What have doctors told you? Have you been diagnosed with anything? Has anything helped?

Good news from the ATTLAS trial for patients with EGFR mutations and ALK translocations.
Treatment with atezolizumab, bevacizumab, paclitaxel, and carboplatin (ABCP) was significantly more effective than pemetrexed plus carboplatin or cisplatin https://dailynews.ascopubs.org/do/atezolizumab-bevacizumab-and-chemotherapy-improves-pfs-egfr---alk--mutated-nsclc-after?cid=DM15256&bid=315813216

Anyone somatic BRCA mutation in tumour?
Hi all, Iâm wondering if anyone had their tumour tested positive for BRCA1/2 mutation, but your genetic test (via blood/saliva) tested negative? And if so, did your oncology team explain what that means especially regarding if it puts you at a higher risk to develop breast cancer. At my recent oncology

You can't fool mother nature
I can not find the post which recommends this video. It was less than a week ago. It is 3 hours long so I recorded the audio and listened to it while working in my shop. I recommend it to anyone who has cancer or knows anyone who has cancer or really anyone. For me the most important take aways are intermittent

Update 7.7.5 = Benign
Thanks to all who responded to my last post. The news on the growth removed from my face was good news. It was benign, a Seborrheic Keratosis that suddenly had become inflamed. Due to the coloration, it looked a possible malignant growth, which is why I had it checked out. I would encourage everyone

Nearly 14 years on - time has flown.
On Friday 16th April 2010 I joined the Pernicious Anaemia Society and posted the following: âI was diagnosed with PA back in 1972 consequent upon having had surgery for a peptic ulcer in April 1959 at the tender age of 17. In those days I was not many years from having to be put on a diet of raw liver

Death of Dr. Joseph Chandy
Very sad news of the death of Dr. Chandy, who was a hero for his B12 deficient patients . He wrote , with Hugo Minney , a great book âVitamin B12 deficiency in clinical practiceâ. ( Doctor , you gave me my life back) He stood up to the medical authorities in order to treat his B12 deficient patients

Update on Prostate Cancer Vaccines that I follow... another year is gone...
Greetings FPC forum, It has been another year... and I would love to have better news... there is a new vaccine candidate to monitor, but the reality is that the system takes time... The system needs a revision in my opinion, but I digress... As I reviewed the last time, the vaccine trial for RhoVac's

Implications of positive if âweak ANA testâ?
I have dry-eye confirmed by Moorfieldâs. I also have dry mouth and my dentist said she suspected I had Sjorgrenâs. When tested I proved to have a âweak positive ANA testâ. What, if anything does that mean?

How effective is fenofibrate for itch?
My doctor suggested a few different drugs, like rifampricin, naltrexone, and fenofibrate for my itch. He prescribed fenofibrate as he thinks it works best. Does anyone here take it and if so, has it helped? I'm worried about the warnings it comes with about severe liver damage.
