Do you have a tumor marker such as alphaprotein?
I hope you get a quick answer that will get you out of this anxiety.
No one has said anything like that to me.
Alpha-fetoprotein is a tumor marker for hepatocellular carcinoma, its reliability is relative compared to magnetic resonance imaging and biopsy, which are supposed to be the most precise tests, but it can provide a little more information. I think you should have a second opinion and repeat either the biopsy or have another radiologist consult the MRI images. I'm sorry you're going through this situation of uncertainty.
Dear Ksvlm
If you [are in the UK and] would find it useful to talk things over, our nurse-led helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm on 0800 652 7330 (excluding bank holidays).

That's Definatly a question only your Dr can fully answer. My thoughts are that an MRI detects a lesion but does not distinguish between malignant or benign (cancer or something less harmful) and it's then tested by obtaining a piece of it with a biopsy.
If a biopsy says its not cancer it's celebration time!
Was your biopsy done after the MRI?
