How does everyone feel about current Asthma solutions?
Hey all! Ive had Asthma since I was a kid and it can be frustrating to access support when you need it. I just wanted to know if anyone would find more support beneficial as well? Ive heard health coaching could be helpful. Just wanted to hear how everyone else felt

EIB/Asthma not normal symptoms
Anybody out there who has been diagnosed with Exercise induced Asthma but does not have any of the normal symptoms ie wheezing, shortness of breath or tightness of chest. I just become strained inside and my peak flow goes down to about 450.

Fit bit info when in asthma flare up
Wondered if anyone else noticed odd things with fit bit/ other similar watch info when in an asthma flare up/attack. Two weeks ago had a flare up, asthma symptoms lasted about a day and half, which is fairly short for me and managed to get on top of it with reliever and steroid inhaler. During that

Hi ladies I'm after a bit of advice. I have stage 4 endo already had loads of surgeries ; bowel resection, uretic stents, stoma etc. The only further surgery the hospital will do is a total clearance and as I'm only 34 they won't consider that and I understand that the risk of doing so are quite high

How is asthma classified?
Really random question, I know, but no one has explained this to me for about 20 years!! In the past year (and even in the past week!), we've heard lots about severe, moderate and mild asthma. When I was a kid, I was always told my asthma was severe but no one has ever had this conversation with me since

Anyone had an asthma attack made worse by using Salbutamol?
Hi all. Does Salbutamol usually cause faster breathing, or other side effects after taking 6 - 10 puffs within 15 minutes due to an Asthma attack? I have had an attack which wasn’t relieving after my usual 2 sets of 2 puffs over 10 minutes. So I started to have 1 puff every few minutes. However by

Hormones and asthma
I've had a few months of fluctuating asthma symptoms where it would be okay for a couple of weeks and then really bad (mainly with the cough). My preventer inhaler has been changed 3 times and I've been on montelukast for just over a month but it's made no difference and I couldn't identify anything

Prednisolone side effects
Hello! I feel like this might seem like a slightly random question but does anyone else find that taking prednisolone for asthma causes constipation? I have severe asthma and have fairly frequent courses of prednisolone which works wonders for my breathing but I always find it bungs me up a lot. I’m

Asthma, Inhaled Corticosteroids, and Covid Vaccine Group 6

Eosinophil Asthma
At 17 my daughter had a number of chest infections and hospital admissions. Over a period of around a year she was diagnosed with eosinophil asthma and has had one of the highest feno counts the consultant has seen. She has been on steriods now for 2 years ( between 40mg and 20 mg) and every inhaler

Asthma classification
Just don’t understand why people with severe asthma are in group 3 and it’s the same classification for group 6 it says severe asthma. What about moderate asthma? The bmj report says people with mild asthma not at any more risk but doesn’t mention moderate. Surely there is a middle line or are asthmatics
