Bronchiectasis - Feeling of Sticking or trapping of Cough in Lungs & heavy chest , 2 months after Chest Infections

I have been diagnosed with Bilateral Bronchial walls thickening and mild Bronchiectasis in my both lower lobes.

Accordingly, I had severe chest infections in January and after taking the antibiotics treatments, serious coughing has gone but still 2 months after chest infections, I had lots of feeling of Sticking or trapping of Cough in Lungs and in the morning I do use saline nebuliser and breathing exercise and this help me to remove the some of these sticky cough . My oxygen level is normal > 95% almost all the times.

So I have now two following questions, which need your kind attention and reply

1) Feeling of Feeling of Sticking or trapping of Cough in Lungs 2 months after Chest Infections is normal in case of Bronchiectasis even after 2 courses of Antibiotics treatments and please advise if something can be done to treat it

2) I was reading BLF Bronchiectasis leaflets which confirm that with Bronchiectasis, the scarring of the lungs at the location of Bronchiectasis is part and parcel. So I am worried as scarring of lungs means Fibrosis.

Just wondering if you are using 0/9% isotonic saline. If so, you might find it easier to get the sticky gunk up usisng nebulised saline in your nebuliser. For this though you would need to see your consultant as you have to have an assessment and it is hospital directed. Once you have had the assessment your GP will prescribe as normal on repeat.
