Prepectoral, immediate, direct to implant surgery
Hello, Has anyone had this type of mastectomy and immediate above the muscle reconstruction? I live in a small town in North Carolina and I am finding it hard to find a surgeon/patients who have had experience with this procedure. Thank you very much.

Has anyone been on the drug Temodar for brain mets ? If so, what is your experience with it ? On my recent MRI of brain I have increased number and size of brain mets. CT scan also shows increased disease. I was switched from Faslodex and Verzenio to Temodar which is used in brain cancer and Xeloda

So October is coming soon and PINK will be everywhere. I personally have a thing against the PINK. I dont see what all the hoopla is about. My cancer was huge in left breast not picked up by mammogram. I had to have to ultrasound and biopsy to confirm. So mammo's dont pick up everything. I wonder if

Tamoxifen
I’m about to start taking Tamoxifen, which I’m dreading, and wondered if any of you lovely ladies could share your experiences with this drug. How quickly did you start to experience side effects? What side effects did you have? How did you manage them? Is there a best time to take the drug, morning

New to Health Unlocked
In April 2000 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy, chemo, and five years each of Tamoxifen and Femara. Everything was fine until February 2018, when a biopsy of my underarm lymph nodes confirmed the recurrence and spread on the same side as before. I am presently taking Ibrance and

I'm new here Diagnosed 11 Months Ago
I am on my 2nd opinion. First was 11 months of Ibrance and Letrozole. That Duo did not seem to last as long as my Oncologist Thought, however I liked it because there was not really alot of side effects. What should I expect with Afinitor and Exemastane ?

Cluster in unrelated family members (son-in-law and mother)
Hello. I was recommended to you all by the Auburn Group on FB. My husband was diagnosed with superficial spreading melanoma of the head/neck, between stage I and II. He had reconstructive surgery on his cheek, jaw, and neck area. He declined a sentinel node biopsy. This was early November 2017.

3-D tattooing for nipple/areola
Regarding
breast
reconstruction
and nipple replacement. Has anyone had the 3-D tattoo instead of going through surgery with the nipple replacement? If so what’s your experience and how do you feel about the 3-D tattoo? If you had it to do over again which one would you choose?

Has anyone had triple negative breast cancer? I’m two years out from it. Had a lumpectomy. Chemo therapy and radiation. Now every bone and joints hurt in my body and I am now with no energy or strength like I used to have. Has anyone suffered from this and what did you do to feel better? I’m worried

Memories!
During your AF journey, is there one particular time you remember above all else? For me it would have to be back in 2008, when I didn't know I had AF, and trying to pee into a bottle in CCU in the early hours after being on a trolley for 5 hours and getting interrupted by nurses trying to do my admission

I truly appreciate the information and sharing on this page. I had cancer 12 years ago,, had a double mastectomy, removed the sential node. In October of 2017 I found a pea-sized lump under my right arm. Biopsy showed breast cancer had returned. Scan showed breast cancer in my liver, metastatic. My oncologist
