Secondary BREAST cancer

Hi I just had oncolgy Thursday and wa told that capbitine is not working legends increased so starting new chemo in two weeks as have chest infection. It's called eriburlin intravenously on 21 day cycle day 1 and day 8 I'm worried as bloods are so low and that's why capbitine didn't work as had to keep decreasing dosage. Has any one been through this or take eribulin that can give some advice

Hi Anne I was on capecitabine too., it only worked for 9 months for me.. on taxol..( that didn’t work alone so had to add carboplatin .. capecitabine works even if they reduce the dose, but I know from friends too secondary or mets don’t get very long on it..unless very lucky . I was on a bumper dose... praying the next one will work for you... ❤️
